I am really lovin' this model, even though I tend to care little for Elves, this really hits a lot of bars for me.
- Usage of Eredar Warlock animations (not often do I see that)
- High Elf version (always preferable)
- Uses Icon Textures
- - ... in such a way that you can actually switch them out!
- Decent custom animations
- - ... which end up providing a plethora of spell-making options! (seriously a glut; I saw a 'Crit Strike', a 'Bladestorm', a 'Blink', a 'Channel', a 'Firebreath', and then four more generic spell casting animations beyond that!)
Now, as for critique, I might suggest:
- Looking at the face/eyes; something about it seemed off to me (though the wrapping of High Elf texture to Eredar mesh is still quite good & creative)
- Consider alternatives (and/or May I Have Permission To Edit?); "Pyromancer" & all those fiery SFX (as well as some of the mesh/texture elements) just seems like you're stepping all over the 'design-space' of the in-game Blood Mage (i.e. does any map really need two fire-wielding, fancy-caped, Elven sorcerers??); and while it thematically 'fits' the Blood Elves (see: Blood Mage), it really feels off on a High Elf.
I don't know whether a slight SFX tweak towards a "Sun Mage" (oooh) or a full-SFX-rework towards an "Ice Mage" or "Arcane Mage" is better, but hey... Options? : )
