Hawkwing: No offense, but you really need to work on colour schemes. You've thrown it off a bit with the yellow and red on the shield. Also, you're starting to really lean away from the whole idea of Black Elf. Work on your shading and work on your colours, and stop messing it up in between moderations.
Hawkwing: I see no changes whatsoever.

67chrome: The color scheme on this skin really does need more attention, right now just about the entire thing is a medium shade of gray, which seems more reminiscent of an animated statue than a dark elf. The skin tone could stand to be more colorful and much darker, I would recommend picking some sort of color for the skin tone, such as a dark purple, blue, brown - something. The bright and fully saturated colors on the shield don't say dark elf to me either, they seem much to optimistic for a race that is often portrayed as evil in most fantasy games. Again, see if you can get a certain color scheme going, such as dark blues, reds, and purples. The way you are representing chain mail seems pretty unique, and seems to look decent in game. I wouldn't advise adding more chain mail to fix the armor situation though, the amount of chain mail you have seems to be the right amount. I would recommend checking out the skinning tutorials, you might find some good techniques for your skins there. I would also advise changing every portion of the skin in one way or another before you re-submit it here, as it really need more work
