  • Lol it only took like 30 minutes xD thanks for all the time you took trying to figure it out earlier!
I've managed to single it down a corrupted file in Warcraft III. I reinstalled WC (and JNGP for safety), and I have yet to experience any crashes.

wow, with mouse? i am thinking u were using tablet when drawing those tiles. your textures is so amazing herrdave, i really admire your texturing style :)

    hi herrdarve :)

i was wondering, do you use pen and tablet when you draw your texture? i am referring to the tileset one.
Going to try out the texture in the vanilla editor and hope its just a corrupted JNGP.
Lol okay I'm sorry HerrDave... its 100% the grass texture. It's been about 6 hours since I removed it, and I haven't experienced a crash.
Still crashing HerrDave :( here is the object editor data for the tree.

Mind checking it out yourself so we can possibly rule out that its my computer?
Oh O: I am in fact overwriting a tree. I will definitely check this out! Whats the reasoning behind this?
Yup, it would. I just wanted to use him in an cinematic and you must understand that he seems as if he's praising some gods holding those two axes up like that, haha. So, if you actually edited the animations like that. It would be helpful.
Sir Herr Dave, if I may request something simple. The Bandit Axethrower... could you add him some sort of regular "Cinematic animation" where he uses some sort of stand animation with his axes lowered? If not stand animation, you could use the blademaster's "stand cinematic animation", but just let him remain "sat down" in that animation with his axes lowered. Would look pretty cool for the Axethrower.
95% sure its the Spruce Tree :) I had everything but the Spruce Tree imported, and it has not crashed.
No sorry xD I didnt get the chance to do anything yesterday. I will today after I grab lunch!
I'm using JNGP version 1.5e. When I exit the game, I get this error. When I exit the editor, I get this error. I only get these errors when I exit the game or editor.

    Models:
    Spruce Tree
    Textures:
    Rings_Grass
    Rings_Dirt
    Rings_Stone
During the wipe I lost my list of requests, if you had one please leave me a message describing the model and how long it was since you requested it.
Hey HerrDave! Sorry to bug you again, but I've encountered a problem with one of your textures. I've just started on my project, which currently only contains 4 of your custom resources. Whenever I close the editor or exit out of a game, it crashes. After some process of elimination, it appears to be one of the 3 tilesets I use: Ring_Dirt + Grass + Stone. Still trying to figure out which one exactly is causing the crash.
Nobody is rushing you, HerrDave :) currently using your Grass, Rock, and Dirt tiles in my project! They look amazing! I'm also using your spruce tree.
Hey HerrDave! Do you plan on making a grassy-dirt or thick grass to go with your current terrain skins?
Due to a series of unfortunate program bugger-ups, I am left with no other option than to wipe my computer and fully reinstall everything. I will be gone for a bit while I am getting everything back in order.
Hey, to inform ya. The "Stand Hit" animation on the bandits is a typical unused animation that was buggy even the day Blizzard released it. Basically, they freeze like "ice sculptures" and just stay that way. So it's not bug. It was originally there. So you can't actually fix it, just edit it. Just wanted you to know it ain't a bug or your fault at all for it. :p
Hmm, so you'll give it a try and see for yourself if you can grasp such greatne... I mean, such powe... I mean, such terraining! Sure, sure. Won't hurt to try.
Well, if you do a terrain request... I have one written down that is in need of design.
Do you know perhaps anyone out there who is willing to do terrain requests, Mr. Herr Dave?
Ah, well, thank you for the reply. I guess I'll figure it out, eventually, or find someone to help me out with it. Funny, I can trigger all sorts of simple things. But something as simple as that I screw up. :p
I see you made some sort of Natzi Maps and therefor I am curious. Do you have any knowledge in the hero loading and saving? I am working on two heroes to load and save, but only one saves. The other is like... "mysteriously gone".
Do inform me when you finish on the Bandit Axethrower entirely. I find great use in that model. Regards, Pyraeus. Btw, I am a fan of your work. Seems too warcraf 3ish and great.
I just wanted to thank you again for all you've done. You worked quickly and efficiently and unlike a lot of the users on this site, you kept your word of at the very least trying to complete my requests. I really appreciate the help and they all came out perfect!
