  • Oh, alright. Take your time. It's not like it's gonna go anywhere. Just wanted to inform you. Hope to hear from your future reviews.
I was actually planning that but I might do that when things are done. It makes it easier to edit it, I guess.
Hehe, okay - Thats your choice to make. Just wanted to voice the option, in case you hadn't thought of it.
Oh yes, you were definitely the one to go to for post-apocalyptic lore. It sounds great. But instead of trying to find out who did that to him, Cameron could be told by the Blessed Brother in the store that they've abducted Dominic. So when Cameron wakes up, he goes on a search for Dominic instead since it fits better with his personality. That could also lead him to the heart of the Blessed Brothers.

I never really thought about the wife's name since there's no dialog in the intro cinematic (showing flashes of their life and then the car crash), but Lily is a good name for her.
Yo, just wanted to inform you that I uploaded two chapters of the 2Player Exodus of the Horde Campaign. So, since you liked the album stuff. I wanna know if you like the in-game. So I invite you to visit it and see. I hope you do.
Ah, so a whole new account - interesting. Why not just change the name of the other? Or get Ralle to merge them, something like that?
No worries about how long it takes. Hopefully whatever is wrong isn't serious.

And the name Kenny sounds good. But if it's anything like South Park, he's in trouble.
    Hi!, uhh
If you have some free time, check out mine *:)
It just has been "unoficially" released only for close-friends.
EDIT: "The link thread has been removed due to some reason."
I never got around to planning out their personalities in detail, but the way I imagined was that they were zealouts with criminal pasts. They'll do anything to increase their ranks and basically hog as many supplies as they can find whether it be by looting, stealing, abducting children (like I mentioned in the original post), murder or even using harvesters for nefarious purposes (like releasing caged harvesters to tear through groups of people that oppose them). I guess you could call that insane and downright evil.
Blessed Brothers will just be a group of thugs and criminals who think they're chosen by God, or whatever. They'll all have different skintones, clothing, hair, etc. I've been skinning a lot of varieties of each.
Nope, I can come up with the model whether it's male or female. By character I meant the living person you mentioned adding.
Definitely. I made an ally NPC test map where the ally follows Cameron and shoots a pistol while walking just like Cameron can. Now all it needs is a fitting character to be the NPC.
Some buildings will be unlocked/unlockable and unbarricaded for looting and story progression. I planned for at least one or two small grocery stores, Cameron's office building, an apartment complex, and Cameron's house.

And the campaign idea sounds awesome, especially if you include some unique things in water like swimming mini-games or underwater areas. That would make the most out of playing an amphibious race :pwink:
I wasn't sure when to include the pistol, but the player will definitely have it before encountering spitters.

I'll definitely use those stomp and roar abilities. Maybe the spitter will sometimes shoot out clouds from its projectiles which linger in that area for a while. Or that could be a Glutton-only ability. I was also thinking flesh beasts would be incredibly resilient from the front (hardly taking any damage), but take exponentially higher damage from back attacks. Its turn rate would be fairly slow, so hitting its back wouldn't be impossible, just difficult.
I've been testing out the harvesters in action, but I'm still thinking of adding special abilities to them (like berserk to give crawlers a temporary move/attack speed gain). Any ideas for the others?
Thank you for your nice comments and somewhat of a review on my 2Player Album. As for the Sen'jin model. I know it's a suggestion that you meant. However, that model is the only one looking Witch Doctorish and that is suitable to his Darkspear Tribe's look. That is the reason I'm using it and probably won't change my mind. xD
Yes they seized the house's entrance. That location will be for a side quest. Thanks for commenting:)
Yep, those could work. The Glutton/spitters would have to be out in a large open area since the model is so wide. I was also thinking of the abomination being great for a boss fight after you mentioned it as a spitter. I also like the idea of spitters sometimes encountered at street intersections as somewhat tough non-boss enemies.

And harvesters could be the general term for all of the creatures. Zombies would always be called harvesters, but other things have their special names as well. So there's regular harvesters (or lesser harvesters), and then there's hounds, crawlers, flesh beasts/brutes, stompers (I like how that name differentiates it from the mountain giant), and spitters (Glutton being a boss spitter).
Hounds, crawlers?, flesh beasts, and your friendly neighborhood zombies. It's basically just the ones I mentioned in my original post so far, plus the hound. A lot of the enemies will be (human/zombified) Blessed Brothers too, so I don't need a huge variety of harvesters.
Harvesters sounds like a nice gruesome term (in the right context). It would be general enough to include the other creatures I have in mind, and not just corpses.
That would be pretty aggressive, but also very realistic. It could work. I can put a simple medical mask or something like that on Cameron.
It seems the best way to go, but I don't want Cameron getting infected from a single attack, and I don't want to have to load him up with a bunch of heavy clothing (he's currently triggered to bleed when attacked). He could be immune to the disease, but that may be a bit overused.
The map's name will be Hysteria.

I was actually going to mention Cameron's personality in my post, but I ended up rushing out earlier :prazz: He's a doting father and will do anything for his son. He doesn't really have any combat experience, but he's very alert and learns things quickly (which goes hand in hand with a weapon leveling system I'll be including). He'd rather resolve things through negotiations with (living/un-mutated) people rather than violence, but he'll do whatever is necessary to protect the people he cares about. He loved his wife dearly when she was alive, but he suffered an emotional hit when his wife died and left him a single parent. That ended up making him stronger-willed in the long-run. He'll help anyone that seems sincerely good-natured.

Thanks for working on my lore :pcon:
