And instead of it being a big powerful item, it can even be a secret boss that upgrades your heros stats when you kill him. Or that the boss drops the big powerful item...

...Earlier in the journey of your hero, he encounters 4 easily-found secret items, and soon after all that, you eventually come to a portal where you can teleport near the forest, but at the portal area there are 4 elemental spots on the ground. If you're smart you'll figure out that you have to put the 4 items into their coresponding elemental spots, it will then instantly destoy all 4 items. Then you can choose to go through the portal, and when you get to the forrest, you can search around the edges of the forest, and there is a spot where all the the trees will be destoyed in a line toward the big secret item, the item is a comination of all 4 secret items, and more. But the trees aren't detoyed for you, unless you've already sacraficed the 4 items earlier. Its a pretty cool secret I think, and you can do somthing similar if you want

In one of my maps I'm working on, I have a huge forrest in the bottom of the map. I made it that there is a really powerful secret item hidden between the trees, and deep inside the forrest...

Go to your User CP, then click on Edit your Signature. Then grab all of the picture coding in your sig with your mouse. The press the button that says Insert link, and paste the text/code. And done :)
