War of the Ancient Trilogy, Volume 2: The Demon Soul
(I quote from the German version and translate it into English because I don't have the original English edition, if the exact wording should be slightly different)
Page 9, at the bottom: "On the other hand, Neltharion hadn't sent his clan to hunt demons because he appreciated their conversational skills. No, the prisoners served a different purpose, served a lofty goal, which unfortunately they would never appreciate. The eredar here was the last and the most important. His special magical abilities had made him the key figure in the first part of Neltharion's plan"
[...then come two pages about how the disk penetrates the eredar and its agony at the end of which his body crumbles to dust, that reads like she's sucking him out...]
(Page 12, middle: ) "Neltharion looks impressed at his work. Even he couldn't feel the extraordinary powers that were now in the disk, but he knew they were there - and when the time came, they would be available to him."
The part where the dragons add their essence only comes towards the middle of the book.
And in the book, when Korialstrasz secretly examines the disc, it is also described:
"As spoiled and malicious as the Burning Legion".
I don't know the exact page now, I would have to read the book all over again.
I'm glad that the part with the eredar warlock is at the very beginning.
