Outside of the first mission, this is by far the best custom campaign I've played so far. Great way for people who never played the first Warcraft to get a feel for how the orcs came to exist in the human world.

The first mission was made waaaaay too difficult for people who enjoy killing everything on the map, such as myself, with level 7 and 11 ogres you have to kill, both of which come surrounded with level level 5 ogres/orc grunts. I ended up needing to kill around 5-6 level 5 ogres and one level 7 ogre with just my level 3 hero to finish the mission - Had to 'pull' the weaker orcs and run away from the level 7 orc various times to heal at the near(ish) fountain of life, using roar to escape each time.

It's a shame this hasn't been updated since 2003... The guy who started this project has vanished into thin air, even though his site shows screenshots of the 2nd part. Might be worth everyone sending an email (email on his website) to see if he he's interested in restarting the project.

{EDIT}
Hmm, seems I posted too soon - Mission 3 is even more difficult than the first. It seems impossible to win when you have a level 10 red dragon attacking you every few minutes... Hoping it's easier on easy.

This campaign would be 10/10 excellent if the guy who created it came back to fix the insane difficulty hikes.

Edit: Managed to *just about* beat it on easy. Not sure what the main differences are between easy and normal mode, but even on easy mission 3 was still the hardest Warcraft 3 mission I've ever tried...

Hard is one thing, near impossible is another. The change in difficulty between the first and second mission shows you that it needs fixing.

It's stupid when you have to 'cheat' the system in order to win in the first mission...assuming you're the kind of person who kills everything on the map. It needed QC by a few people... Shame it's too late now.

Anyway! The fourth mission has yet again lowered the difficulty level back to something more reasonable and fun. Very well made mission, you have to end it quickly or find the other gold mine asap.

Edit: Oh yeah, nearly forgot. The optional quest in mission 3 seems to not work - I killed every creep and saved everyone, yet the quest never updated.

{EDIT}
Mission 5 is also HARD. The creator of this definitely wanted to know people would have a hard time finishing it. Scary to think how hard the missions in part 2 were going to be...

Anyway, any tips for beating the first human mission?

Where did you get that Ogre hero unit? he looks really cool.

very good campaign, but also to hard some times....
<<<but where is part 2?
To mission5: just build a few footmen, rescue fast the villages, then u can build another units, with priest and the another units u can take it...
i also needed 2 trys ;)

to aionics comments, i agree abt missions 3 and 5 but the others were fairly easy. this campaign involves more strategy than the original campaigns, and it takes alot of patience to play it. took me 4 trys to get mission 5, haha.
sum1 needs to find p2 and get it on here.

Great campaign, one of the best I've played, although it was a bit too easy. Somehow, I completed all of the maps in one try without any loading...although it took me 1.5 days to finish the entire campaign since I like to do all the quests + explore every part of the map while killing everything on the map.

Didn't notice any glitches but there were some minor spelling errors.

Hope you make Episode 2: The Fall of Azeroth soon, I REALLY want to play it...

Great job! I don't know if you'll ever finish the second episode, but if you did, it'd be great!

Some downsides in the campaign; some grammar mistakes, and I agree that it was too easy. Vampiric Aura + Frenzy + Unholy Frenzy was just monstrous. You could defeat entire armies just with two heroes.

The storyline could also have been better shaped. I like the fact that you used Warcraft II music, but you should have used more of those. Some of the musics you used did not fit well into the game.

Having that settled, I award this campaign a [7] Very Good rating.

This is one of the best campaigns I've played. I even enjoyed it more than the original campaigns!

Pros: I really like the Warcraft history, and this delivers a great piece of it! (It's a remake of Warcraft 1)
The campaign has a really cool style and I really loved that every map had their own music and such. Most (if not all) new skins and models was great as well.

Cons: It had some grammar mistakes and at first I thought it was a bit hard. But then I realized how strong the heroes really was.

Overall: The author have created a very creative and funny campaign. I recommend it to all who like warcraft's history.

I *really* hope he make Episode 2: The Fall of Azeroth :)

I never did beat mission 5 - I kept failing and was very bored with Warcraft 3 (after beating W3 + FT), so I quit.

I'm going to give this campaign another go. It would be nice if there was a part 2 and fixes to look forward to, but...

btw, i found a bug: Raise Dead skill from gul'dan is buggy in level 2 (and maybe also level 3?) does also kill sometimes your own units and make them undeath for a short time...

Great campaign 9.9999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999998/ 10

Just one Question, when is the next one coming out?

lol on level 5 i did the stupid thing... rushed the orcs bases and guess what? I Won.. >.>

{EDIT 1}
And also i agree that this campaign roxx so id give it 8/10, Sooo whens the sequal comin out?

{EDIT 2}
Hmm... that was great! Although just before the credits in the cinematic why was thrall there? Or at least his model with doomhammer and orgrims armor anyways..

Can you tell me where you got the Kilrogg Deadeye model from? Hes one of my favorite characters, and the model he has rocks

How Do I install this ? :/
Looks like I can't install it by taking it to campaign folder.

Great Campain, just wanted you to know what was wrong with it.

-Frostwolf Clan lived in Nagrand not the snowy wastle lands
-Zuluhed and Nekros were apart of the Dragonmaw Clan, Zuluhed was not called "The Whacked" yet
-There were many more clans that came, heres a list
Blackrock Clan
Stormreaver Clan
Black Tooth Grin
Bleeding Hollow
Twilight Hammer
Dragonmaw
Burning Blade
Other than that on level after that, there was a portal built on the azeroth side
Grom Hellscream was also involved, other than that, its great
The Blackrock Clan was formed before the Horde
In Frostwolf mission, the frostwolves were loyal to the horde, but the slaughter-fest never happened. Duratan was a warrior, Drek'Thar was a Shaman.
I suggest that after the Horde takes over Stormwind, Ogrim Doomhammer should kill the shadow council and blackhand. Then Gul'Dan revives the shadow council guys as death knights. I will post as i keep going

The Campaign it's self is fairly nice, but if i were you i would rate it a [7] as the story has both spelling errors, and takes it outside of the lore. The game lacks several stuff, and has many sexist elements. Nothing of Warcraft 3 should EVER break the Pegi rating of the game.

What can I add to what has been said? This is a masterpiece campaign, deserving a neat 5/5 and it shoul be inserted in the director's cult.
It's a REAL, REAL, REAL pity the author seems uninterested in making the second episode, The Fall of Azeroth, I'd have LOVED to play it.
It seems that the curse affecting the creators of the best campaings hosted on the hive (see Day of the Dragon, Dwarf Campaing and so on) still has to be lift. :)
You may think about tuning down certain missions, at least when the player is defeated for the first time.

5/5, with HIGH honors.
This work should be adopted as a model to follow by campaing makers!

It wont let me access it, i downloaded it in my campaign file, but it doesnt show up

If som1 has same problem, open campaign folder in WCIII main folder, and type w3n to over of the map name and it will works.

Anyway, the story and campaign would be good if there wouldn't be epic buggs...(couldn't win 01 until I opened campaign in WE and fixed victory condition by myself) and other bugg in 03 the spearman unit hasnt collision size(configured to zero!) and and the AI spawned it always and I got uber lagg causes unit numbers and they didnt attack and werent the spearman attackable because that horrible setting...

This is nice campaign but need to fix the buggs, and errors.
3.8/5 with buggs

Edit:
Anyway siege of Stromwind uber hard, and in later chapters also apppers that collision size error which ruin everything. I'm really curious those players whom tryed out this campaign before me how completed with this epic errors and buggs.

Is there another link to download ? For some reason i cant download it.

Went to re-download because I lost it somehow and the link is broken :(

Just greate! So pity that such good mapmakers stop doing making campaigns. As I understand, it was published back in 2003, I don't know how I could miss it all these years.

A classic, I guess.

It needs to have the campaign category.

prologue:

-might as well made the water black or something to make it not look like water, you know

chap1:
-why the annoying sounds whenever there is a transmission?
-Draenei are already mutated/deformed?
-I guess they should've realized some of their men were missing as they were in cages?
-the Warlock in the cage does not come with full mana

chap2:

-units don't pause and more than 1 cinematic scenes may be triggered; the gold mine one and the one with the bandits; the bandits looked at the orc hero and then when to ambush him he was no longer there but in front of the mine; basically the orc hero was talking to the bandits then to Gul'dan and so on
-the bandits understood the orc...!?
-orcs are vampires?
-destroy the human base=/=destroy the main building
-well, deranged orc, became sexually attracted to humans

chap3:
-Blackhand on a giant wolf?
-no orcish salutes?
-why would Blackhand expect Kobolds? Were they on Draenor on mountains too?
-Warlocks in this level have magic attack type while in previous levels they had chaos...

chap4:
-wasn't Durotan supposed to be killed?

chap5:
-why would he have Divine Shield if he's not a Paladin
-certainly does not feel like a siege; only Footmen? What kind of fortress is this?
-orcs attacking the villages stand idle instead of going to the next houses

chap6:
-Cho'gall the Ogre-mage the Ogre Magelord?
-no language barrier
-how did other troops get ahead through enemy territory?

interlude:
-what!? Transform human blood into demonic blood? Nonsense
-why is Gorefiend an orc?
-what!? Spearmen are actual copycats of human troops? Needless to remind that the humans had arbalists

chap7:
-there is no evidence that orcs rode horses pre-RoC
-what are Darkspear Tribe trolls doing in the Eastern Kingdoms?
-it seems Cleaving Attack doesn't have three levels anymore
-why is Gul'dan blue like the humans?

3.5/5.

Played this awhile back and have not rated it until now. Definitely very hard and not for everyone - I found the maps a cool addition with some liberal lore tidbits added that I found neat. I found a couple maps, specifically the Blackrock conquest one, to be quite tedious in an unenjoyable way. Overall a great campaign in my opinion, with a few minor drawbacks of grueling challenge - 4/5, would recommend!

I agree with you. Almost all maps are too big, and have too many stuff to kill in a way that thigs get tedious and repetitive. Just to begin another mission and see that colossal map that i know that 90% it's just random creatures and empty space... Makes me sad.

Sorry for my english.

I enjoyed it a lot, and the cinematics were pretty well made, especially the 1 on 1 duel between Kagesama and Anduin. I hope the creator comes back to hive and start working on part 2. He was last seen in 2015 RIP. guess there will never be a part 2!!!:ogre_rage::cry:
I recommend this 5/5 !!
