EDIT: so basically photoshop is allowed when it is used not to manipulate already existing images? (You have to create everything yourself)
is it ok to make a cool background and stuffs when using photoshop or is that illegal ^^? I can do that in like 3-4 mins max so...
(Oh wth... I'll just submit them both if I ever do ;D 1 with no backgrounds and only the evolution and one with backgrounds if that's ok for you)

Is it cool if we use old work that we haven't released yet? Because I have like a folder full of all my old concept drawings

if you draw something and no one knows about it until you show it then no one will know how old it really is. that of course goes with if you say its old then you have a rare case of openmouthandspillmoreinfothenyouneedto syndrom and should see a fail doctor immediatly.

my creature is based off a cat's skelly system (o.o), crossed with a dragon (), but is mechinoid (O.O). hehe

For photoshop we were more thinking along the lines of using that to draw with, not to create psychedelic backgrounds.

Characters is the intent of the contest, so yeah.

Actually there was no number two. The previous contests were "Steam punk art contest" and "Concept art contest #3"... no idea how that 3 got there.

We had one minicontest, which I think got counted somehow. Now we have 2 #3's and no 1 or 2. Oh dear.

Attached is my creature, it has an anatomy aswell with 4 evolutions instead of 3 (if 4 is too much just count 2-4 please). Sorry it's not colored.

It absorbes things through the skin like moisture, germs, viruses, bugs and then comes into the stomach and other organs, it's very powerful immune system allows it to burn the germs and viruses into fat, the fat is used as energy for the muscles and stuff, the brain is in the very back of the body so that it's harder to kill and more safe. The eye can retract into the body to protect it, still being able to see outside. It also takes air from the atmosphere through it's skin. It's single eye and no hearing, taste or smell makes it a bit more vurnerable. It goes through it's evolution in 2 years. Since it has no bones it can squeeze through many things easily. It is 3 feet long at evolution 1 and 5 feet long at evolution 4. If you want more details just ask and I'll tell you.

That's a good idea, Alagremm!! Because we might see lots of pokemon-like creatures (at least, this is where the evolution ideas come from at large)..

DeadZero, I mean that it would be cool if someone made Warcraft creatures or race evolution, even not correct. For example a human turning into a faceless one under the Curse of Flesh, or earthen(stone dwarf)turning into a normal dwarf once again under the effects of Curse of Flesh.
