here's an icon I made for @skipper 's funky troll medium model. I'm not an artist and did not make this from scratch, just butchered heavily modified this cool art by Susanna Harle so it would pretty much match up with the unit. Its not perfect, but works for me and maybe can help you too. (I know it could use a little cleaning up - but most of the imperfections are either blocked by the border, or too small to be visible in-game so I didn't bother... )

edit: I added a brighter version bc I noticed the originals were darker than other icons in-game

what do you mean the original one? as in have the pic on top of the display be the icon itself?

The small 64x64 icon needs to be main icon image , if you want to add the big image then add it towards a comment or the description.
