Shonen Wars v1.9d

This bundle is marked as useful / simple. Simplicity is bliss, low effort and/or may contain minor bugs.
Map Description
Shonen Wars is 128x128 sized map. Where you can pick from over 20 heroes from great variety of animes (Underground/Mainstream). You may create over 45 recipe items, and buy/get over 80 items in overall. There is chance to do sidequests which give you gold or rewards, that may have secret uses. Basic platform of gameplay is based on AoS system, yet in future you may see more complex version of it, such as upgrading troops or capturing points. Thats about it in a nutshell.

Black Star huh? ^.^ One of my favourite chars. If you need I can make combinateable spells for it. Example: There was a fight between Black Star and Mifune where Black Star threw Tsubaki in shuriken form towards Mifune but Mifune caught her, a moment after Black Star morphed Tsubaki into a smoke bomb.

Combinations sound good and it gives synergy. Just need more precise idea what you had in mind.

Well I have the following ideas:
The shuriken skill remains but moves like a boomerang without damaging allies(or yes, if it's needed ~.~).

Smoke bomb(not with the cloud effect but with an other) if activated and Tsubaki is not in shuriken or illusion form the bomb explodes at Black Star. If Tsubaki is in shuriken or ilusion form it explodes where Tsubaki is. Removes the shuriken or illusion.

Illusion skill instead of mirror image type skill. When Tsubaki is in shuriken form an illusion is created at the shuriken and removes it if not the illusion will be next to Black Star.

Ultimate: The one Black Star used against the demon god at the end ~.~ Still the Omnislash type but with a much more better appearence and a smaller AoE or with single target.

Well if you can make those ill gladly accept them, also the ultimate should only hit heroes to make it more useful. Also gotta change that friendly fire on that shuriken.

From what i alreadt test, i came up with ideal . . . Can i suggest , right?

Well , i found bug in Saber in excalibur skill. When u using skill they are a shake effect but when the skill ended this shake effect still continue on . . . no ending. It makes a lot of annoying.

Next bug, if i choose a hero before the host typing a mode. That mode will not apply to a game.

Example i choose hero and host just typing -usm. My hero current lv is 1 and exp gained still the same rate.

Well this below is a part i want to suggest for saber's skills.

-Excaliburn : Deal a wave of damage to enemy in stright line. If any enemies taken this damage they will be received a curse. This curse will reduce both x% in hp and mana of their current per one abnormal status :

Ex: if u received stun effect while this curse still on so you get reduce like the description.

-Invisible Air: This skill can be both Active & Passive

For Passive , everytimes you upgrade this skill it will increase a chance to reduce damage x% for the next attack that she will be received. [It will show a text the she can block her enemy's attack.

For Active : Create a wind area in xxx AoE [Count an area from her distance]. The unit from outside can't come inside also same as the unit from inside can't go outside.

If any enemies collision with the wind border , they will receive a magic damage with greatly reduce their attack speed per stack. This stack will be increasing saber's attack speed.

If the units collision with the wind outside they will push back but for units inside they will push in.

Note: When this skill actived, passive skill chance will be reduced by a half.

Note2: Casting time 1s, while casting if saber get a silence. so this skill will turn to already used phase with reduction her mana cost for this skill 120%.

Note3: This wind area have a duration more than 5 s.

-Avalon: Chance to dodge magic attack, while she's dodging there is a few chance to reflect this magic damage back to the source.

-Excalibur: Same as old version with addtion skills.

Excalibur can harm the invisible enemies with deal more xx% damage of the normal damage.

This skill once cast , it can't be canceled by anything.

-Charisnm:

Grant +x in her attack speed , evasion , and magic resistance.

But when her hp drop down in every xx% of her maximum hp. Those ability chance will rise down too.

Ex: grant 10% in those skills , when saber's hp remain only 20 percent. so she got only 2% of those ability.



More suggestion in Lucy HeartPhilla:

Skill1: Taurus , this cow got 2 ability:

Powerful double-axes : This cow attack with splash damage xxx AoE.

Rampage: Every x times that the same unit was attacked by him. The land will begin to collaspe. Any enemies that stand above a collaspe pattern will take a magic damage

Everytimes the land take more collaspe, the damage reduction x% will affect to enemies around that collaspe and the damage that already reduction from them will deal back to the one who stand above that land collaspe.

Skill2: Aqurius: Call Aquarium summon with automatic cast a gigantic water wave in the area.

The casting time is random between 0.5 - 2 seconds. The longer castime time = The bigger area. Any enemies that take this wave deal magic damage and it will push to the line that lucy stand. If any unit crash with lucy , they will take more addtional xx% of damage of gigantica water wave spell that they received.

Skill3 : Gale Force Glassees [Passive]: Increase her mana regenrate by xx% and when lucy cast a spell there is a chance that her summon cooldown will be reducted by x%.

Skill4 : Uranometri [Utimate]: Call out a random color ball around lucy and spin it out.

lv1 : xx max number of ball.

Each lv +xx maximum of ball.

Each buff has duration for xx seconds.

[Maximum xx ball]

Each ball deal xx - xx damage

[Random color ball]

Yellow = reduce their attack speed by x% per stack.
Red = reduce their hp from their maximum hp by x% per stack.
Blue = increase duration of curse by x% per stack
Green = received addtional physic damage x% per stack.
Whilte = received addtional magic damage x% per stack.
Black = reduce their hp x% from their current hp per stack.
Purple = increase a miss chance x% per stack.
Pink = reduce their mana x% from their current mana per stack.
Orange = reduce movement speed by x% per stack.

Loke [Passive] [Innate]

Note: only 1 loke per time , if loke already appear and u got a chance to cast it. nothing happen.

There are a x% chance that loke will appear if lucy casting her spell. [Any spell it can be her spell or item's spell]

Loke is melee type unit with a high movement speed.

Loke's ability:

SKill 1: Lion Brilliance [Active]: Shoot out a flash deal a damage in wide area in front of him and make an enemy blind xx% for x seconds.

Skill 2: Regulus Impact [Active]: Travel a loke to the target. Any enemies that collision with him deal magic damage.

For the target , deal magic damage with ministun and knockback enemies a few range.

Skill 3: Enhance stamina [Passive]: Reduce an effect of any kind of slow spell in half.

@DPL; that would take some time, alot of it, i would have to update it all the time since skills change all the time :p. I Just list playable heroes.

@Copsychus; Ive reworked Saber thousand times already idk, will i do that in near future, maybe later. IF the camera starts to bug use -cam reset command that will always work, if camera starts to bug.

Also its impossible to make skill, that gives chance to reduce cooldown by certain amount. Editor has no such possibility.

@Marsal200; I will look into the item ability also, i think the FPS comes to normal if anko uses the spell twice.

But it still get a not custom skills to use.

Skill 1 : Caliburn = sent damage to stright line xxx damage [That is it ?]

Skill 2: This skill didn't help much because after u sent them blow always they can gain their movement suddenly and back to the way you're standing. Maybe you must put stun similar to a barathurm in dota. Because it's look useless. [low damage with push only]

Skill3: Iknow saber have a good magic resistance and armor but the skill name is avalon it doesn't fit with that name.

Skill4: this thing i can think only magic damage that shooting out but i think you should put more thing to make this skill more interesting. don't put only deal damage in the line and it's all.

From my experience play with public and my games.

This map look something missing and quite slow gameplay. When we play too long it seem like we don't have everything to do about it. [Empty]

it's not only your maps but i have seen a lot of it.

@emo2love, i don't feel like crediting icefrog since he hasn't really done anything. Besides modes are diffrent than Dotas, dota don't use default AP like i do. Secondly -em is diffrent than my -sm. Also dotas -dm, works diffrently also. Haters gonna hate what can i say. I can't really change your bias if your like that, but honestly don't care either.

@copsychus, well if you wanna speed up the gameplay, pick -usm and -dm5. About saber, Invisible air or anything with knockback is useful always, you just need to know how to use it. You can go front of enemy, and knockback him to tower, then friend comes to do a bind, then you throw excalibur and caliburn. Thats kinda combo you wanna go with. Excalibur doesn't do anything else than dmg, why should it have smth else? Well what comes to the Avalon, the name could be changed.

Well you should care, making a map and not givin a crap about what the players have too say is not a good way for a mapmaker.

And if you cant see that its a total copying of DotA, then theres something terribly bad with you in MY opinion.

If you havent stolen anything from DotA, why are your hero picking and Item shop, and minion walktho placed almost identical with the DotA series?
And the combine item thingy, and towers killing minions comming, and minions spawning making an attack move dirrected exactly 3 ways (just like in DotA), actually you should care about what i say,
because the rules (on this site) actually says that you have too get permission from the original author before uploading your (copyed) resource, even tho you (maybe) made it from scratch by yourself, its still an (almost) complete copy of thie DotA maps AND give credits.

(and yes, icefrog did do something, he created DotA)
You must have permission to use any source contained in your resource.

1.It's not about i use normal mode or short mode or ultra short mode. Althought i used it the feeling about gameplay still not change at all.

2.Can u put icon shop in minimap? Because some shop hiding in the forest and we can't find it. It makes so much annoy when we want to buy something and we can't find where is it.

3.Saber << again. How your skills have a benefit in late game? Your hero is strength type hero but skill similar to int hero.

SKill 1,4 exactly the same thing. Skill 2 , well i have to explain it again when u push him back , he can gain his consciousness suddenly. So i don't think combo excalibur + caliburn can be used in time.

The last thing that i want to say there are only a few maps whose can do a character from anime and put a real skill that similar to anime character not just only add a model from that cartoon and put any spell into it.

Your map is like that you add this character from that cartoon but your skin isn't the same at all. When i tried to suggest something you seem close-mind for player opinion.

You need to get your Memo checked, when trying to acclaim something.

1. Icefrog isn't original creator of dota
2. Dota isn't first AoS game, it wasn't original creator of lines, only the item system.
3. There is million other AoS maps, they haven't asked icefrogs permission either :p
4. Lines, Towers, Victory conditions are AoS like, Like they should be, its not only dotas exclusive right to do so.

Although i admit game could have more unique elements, and it will have on future, but let me remind that dota wasn't anything special on early stage either. Focusing own character and item concepts is much more important.

1. Well im doing some improvements regarding this matter.

2. There is reason why they are hidden :p, but if your talking about smugglers they are at corners.

3. Well, its currently using fixed values thats true, but planning to add like dealing 100 x 1.25 of total STR, etc.

4. I think thats pretty ignorant acclaim, since ive been praised for being real to anime concept.

5. They aren't cartoon, their animes big diffrence dude. I Wasn't close minded about it,your "changes" wasn't really a build or anything just quick speculations how spells could be, on official forums people put effort on the builds thats why i rather look at them, rather than yours. No harm intended. Although i liked your lucy build, i think i take alook at it when i remake her.

Well, the thing is ive only seen UBW :p, and that saber was based on build, that someone made, and it seemed fine to me, so went with it. So i'm not really one to say :d, since im not FSN expert. Although about invisible air, i think it should be like that, other maps what have saber also had similar knockback. Currently was thinking to rename sabers Avalon to "Embodimient Of Red Dragon". Also change caliburn to avalon, skill what gives +9999 armor for few seconds :p.

I think the trigger name is "Reset all cooldowns". I'm not sure is there one that doesn't reset them all.

Asking for "Revert" term in warcraft III.

Suppose i have passive/Active [Revert skill]
Passive : Any thing that inflct to this hero will revert their effect.

1.they shooting magic bolt deal 150 damage , so it revert to heal 150 damage.

2.they shooting a curse to reduct my attack speed and movement so it revert to increase my attack speed and movement

For Active , target to enemies and when their friend heal or increase , it will go oppsite effect.

3.every hero attack type is physic if this revert skills affect them , They will attack with magic type. and if i used immune magic item so he can't attack me

4.They heal or give a buff to their friend's target so it will revert.

5.Aura that inflict with their friend, if i used this spell attempt to that hero. example mana regenerate so it revert to mana deregenerate.

6.Saber avalon = +9999 armor revert to -9999 armor ; lol

7.Silence them revert to non-silence or silence curse was over.

Is it possible to create?

Well theres no use in talking too you, i will report this map,
because you obviously cant see that you owe the DotA creater alot of Credits..
And why should you care if others has done a map like his and not giving credits..
it doesnt mean that you shall do the same.

Suppose, someday i want to make a taven to pick up hero like that, minion walk into that place and tower kill them and etc. So that mean i copy dota ideal? and icefrog isn't a first person to make this kind of maps. If you said he copy from icefrog why icefrog didn't give credit to any person who make this AoS style before him and it's not about that thing if i makes recipe system , tower goes like that , minion was killed like that , tavern , bla bla bla from my own ideal and i found that icefrog already did that too. So am i wrong that i think similar to his thought? I should go and give him a credit? and if i have to do please tell me about reason why i should do something like that?

Your argument is very invalid emo, Dota hasn't credited AoS GT or Sc AoS version either for their original concept. Dota is wc3 map which means its property of blizzard, it has no license or nothing.

I Don't see why should i credit for stuff icefrog didn't physically contribute its not like the triggers are identical afterall.

its like crediting my dog for digging up 1 dollar from graveyard which was 1/9 part of money i bought the warcraft 3 with, thats just absurb.

If i should credit anyone that should be original creator of AoS, not icefrog. You just got humiliated Emo, since you don't seem to know nothing about background of whole thing. Reporting indeed already showed that.

the spell [Cero] on the Bleach item 'hollow mask' doesnt work.you cant even click the item icon...so is this a very bad typo or did you forget to insert spell???

also the there is a small typo mistake with the item book of eidos(my spelling might be wrong) in the text it says it gives +10 all stats but actually gives +12 o_O

Thanks destiny, both are actually typos, Hollow Mask should have cero, but that wasn't finished yet. So i forgot to remove tooltip.

I can't define this as DotA, since its way too different, I had fun playing it a lot but It would be nice if you can add more shonens, I like bleach very much and that will be awesome!.

The Map was exotic to see, I don't see anything bad and the maze concept was fantastic, instead of trees or mountains that is.
