No it's not 'soppost' to be from Halo. There have been plasma rifles before and after Halo that have been done differently. Deal with it. Just because it's a plasma weapon doesn't mean it's from Halo.

i wasn't complaining, just asking. I said it was good...

Not really... I designed it out of my head, but of course you can use it in a Halo map!

This model is certainly useful, as c&c maps, or with a little imagination halo maps.
It actually looks more like a fuel rod from halo.

He's right. I always imagine the fuel rod as purple from the good old Halo PC days, but everyone else knows it as brown from Halo 2.

it looks awesome Kitabatake...but still...from the screenshot it seems like it can't be held correctly by a konstukt marine model...i'll dl it and see for myself =)

Either way 5/5 for the model kitabatake...the only thing that puzzles me is that your a veteran member here at THW...but you still just a "jewel in the rough" you shuld be a "name know to all"! = |

Hmm I think it might not work properly on the konstrukt models because they require all attachments to be rotated in a way that they wouldn't fit any other models...

I just don't have time to sit all day in the forums having "rep parties" and talking nonsense.

I created an icon that I don't like with blue plasma. I've created some other high-tech weapons but never knew how a plasma weapon should look so as to look awesome. Great model! 5/5 (+reps)

As I stated previously, the plasma rifle was invented LONG before Halo came out, so you're just using a stupid example. It's like saying every Assault Rifle model should be an AK-47 because it's the most well-known.

THERE ARE OTHER PLASMA RIFLES THAN THOSE FEATURED IN HALO.

and actually old ones were Lasers not Plasma

and for the AK-47 part, yes it is the most well known gun yes its the most produced one, but it doesn't mean I wouldn't want an M16A2 at range, the AK's good at short/medium ranges

No, plasma rifles/pistols have existed for a good long time before Halo, despite, phasers, blasters, lasers, etc.

Also, 'Awesomest' is not a word, and that's definetly a matter of opinion.

On a serious note, this is a pointless discussion because "plasma" dissipates in air less than in a second so you'll have just a big "boom" on the place of your weapon if you try to shoot it, plasma weapons are the most stupid weapons ever imagined (laser ones are much more real and quite possible while their sizes should be huge), plasma weapon = pure magic .

Gah man, are you making a fun of me? It may be called rifle but it's a pistol (blaster). It's NOT a rifle.

Now on topic: either it's a plasma rifle, a bioweapon or an easter bunny, it's an awesome model and I love it.
