nope, test it ingame
honestly, making it a female would be a complete new and interesting thing, if done right.. people just don't try.. no offense
well, that's alright, keep tinkering with this one also make the face a little bit sharper, so it doesn't feel like a girls one
This is incredible. Almost perfect, although you used some CnP on the shield, right?
I like that it's now a girl.
but he says that it isn't
Is there a way to make your skin work with the Riderless Dragonhawk model you can find on Hive? Its internal texture is that of a HE Dragonhawk (WindSerpent), thus the question.
I'm not certain if there's anything you can do and - even if - that'd most likely fall under my personal request: http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/models-530/riderlessdragonhawk-241745/
Do you believe you could make it work with it? I'm not experienced in modeling and texturing whatsoever, I simply have the tools to check a thing or two. Perhaps Chen himself would need to be asked?
You'd just download this skin and set the texture path to the alternate one.
Doing that resulted in a little nightmare, which looks exactly like that: http://prntscr.com/7y1885
It is because it uses various skins, just set the name of all skins used to mine.
That's the problem though - it uses only one skin path, just like the original High Elven Dragonhawk. I am not proficient enough to change the texture within the model itself and it is not possible to apply the same path to both textures.
Find the High Elven Dragonhawk skin and copy this guy's skin over onto it.
As I said - that is NOT possible, because this skin is made of 2 components, while High Elven Dragonhawk has only one texture component within its inner structure, meaning that you cannot apply the path to both parts of the texture as there's simply no way of doing so - if you set the texture path of one component and then set the same one to another, it will not work (one of them will go back to default texture path) and there's no other way to do, because - I repeat - HE Dragonhawk has only one texture reference within the model (while BE one has two).
Ok, let me clear it up, what I mean is that you get the texture of the HE Dragonhawk and open it up in an editing program, you also open up this skin, you copy this skin's Dragonhawk texture parts over onto the HE Dragonhawks texture, and then import it into your map.
I tried doing that through the usage of http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/tools-560/war3-model-editor-62876/ but it didn't work (it allows texture manipulation) and - as I mentioned - I lack the expertise to apply a solution you offered through the usage of other programmes.
Oh my stop saying you can´t, just download the mdxpather and set the model skin to mine, the program is on the tools section, 3D
Here's the result: http://prntscr.com/7yj6yw
I'm not asking for much, really.
EDIT: Okay, got the second path to work, but my question now is: What's the point of the second texture? I don't see the difference, now that I'm comparing the models.
Thanks for the info about that tool, I wasn't aware of it. Here's how the model looks like: http://prntscr.com/7yjsur
I'm not certain if the saddle in the middle is there or if it's a black spot.

When i try to import the texture in the model's list of used textured in Magos' Editor, it crashes.
You could just use mdlvs and mdxpather and make your own mdx with the skin.uhh, so you made it to replace the original. That's not useful to me!
