You know a slightly gray contour added to the front part of the wings could help a bit.

What about adding some sparkles in the background to fill it up?

Also can you try to do something to make the butterflie's body stand out compared to its wings. It look kinda like one single object.

Maybe make the colors at the body darker to make it seem a little more distant or something, it's hard for me to give a good explanation with my *cough* limited *cough* art talent.

It is very original but most butterflyes I have seen have spots or other "decoration" on them.

I know yours is a fire butterfly, but I suggest adding some more decoration to the wings.

Comparison ???

I quite tweaked my Button Manager, so it has greater quality and smudged to look like fire. But I think it didn't have any change.
