it's funny because i have one.
i was so drunk with my friends at our backyard and i asked my friend to pass me the glass.
someone passed the glass, but it wasn't my friend, he was at the bathroom. and my other friends were nowhere to be seen. i was so drunk to care but it was funny at the same time because i think we chilled. also it was dark too with inadequate light.

A ghost story huh? Sure I'll share one.

My brother was telling me the story of his mate's old house and why they sold it. He looked at me and sighed and began to explain..His friend Mark was about 5 years old at the time. The only child of his mother and father. Mark had just started attending Primary School. His dad worked full time whilst his mum stayed at home. There was nothing unusual about their days, however night seemed to tell a different story.

*Thump, Thump*. Footsteps echoed amongst the second level of the house and diminished down the stairs. Mark kept his eyes closed and fell asleep. And so the sun rose and shone upon a new morning and the question begged to be asked.
"Hey Mum. Who came upstairs last night?" Asked Mark.
Confound his Mother replied; "Nobody was here last night but myself and your father and we were fast asleep. Now eat your breakfast, I've got to drive you to school in a few minutes."
Mark scooped a spoonful of cereal and frowned. Not much was said for the rest of the day about the matter.

*Thump, Thump, THUMP*. The footsteps were loud! Mark's eyes flew open. He jumped as he saw a face leaning over him. Mark blinked and rubbed his eyes. He opened his eyes and nobody was there anymore! Red veins creaked into his pupils. He felt so awake, his muscles tensed up as he took a deep breath. Mark's feet glided outside of his blankets as he placed his toes upon the cool wooden floor.

He walked downstairs and noticed a light on within the kitchen. It was dark but he moved towards the light. It illuminated upon a small boy. His back was turned and head staring mindlessly into the sink beside the window like a stone statue. Mark's stomach began to feel sick as he struggled to take steps forward. He reached his right hand towards the boy. His fingers touched his shoulder...

"AHHHhhh!" Mark screamed!
The boy appeared to instantly turn his head and gaze into Mark's blue eyes. The boy's face was grotesque. His mouth had been stiched together with dirty string and his eyes were black as if there was no bottom to his torment.
"Mark!? Where are you" Yelled his mother.
She jumped out of her bed as Mark ran into her room. Mark dove into her arms, gasping for air. His father walked towards the door.
"There's a monster" Mark cried.
"There's a monster!"
His father grasped the door handle and shut the door. He rolled his eyes and sighted the same child staring down on him from the ceiling above the door! It yelped and threw Mark's father across the room. Sheets of paper lifted and spilt over the floor in the wake of such a force. The family lifted Mark's father onto his feet and bolted for the front door and collapsed on the front lawn's grass in lassitude.

The ordeal was over. They did not understand what happened that night, but were fearful of ever entering that house again. The next day they organised to have the house demolished before selling the land...

Wow, just a story huh? Well, sure you have to treat it only as such. I never heard the story first hand but I know for a fact they demolished the house before selling it. Strange huh? What's even more strange is they glare at me if I ever bring up the topic. It's best if I leave this one in the cupboards.

So, the other day, I wake up at 5 AM and went to the bathroom. When I get back, I'm about to get in my bed, when my laptop just turn itself on... YES, I HAVE CHECKED, it wasn't on already, and it was closed... (like, the cover was down). It stays on, making noise for a few seconds, then it turns off... And, well, I basically just had to sleep with my bedside lamp on, that night...
