I have not tested the animations of this thing yet, but I like the idea and texture choice for this, I'll consider the dark elixir since it was part of your concept.

Does the bow follow the target? If not, look up the "bone_turret" thing and apply it.

When I first seen the model in @RvP21 's campaign (Tale of the Two Brothers - Part Two), I was amazed. I also wanted to build a bunch of these on the map where I've seen them under my control, but sadly: there was no option for that. I also wanted to make an Icon for this, but I think other people - or even Blizzard? - done this before me, unconsciously and in High Quality:
