WOW online?

I just visited www.blizzard.com an they said that WOW is going to be on sotre shelves on the 23rd an I thought WOW was an online game...is it going to be like you buy it, then with a cd-key you like go online...thatd be sweet...thanks to whoever can answer my question.

Heres how it goes if you never played a mmorpg.

1. Go buy the game.

2. Install the CD and enter the CD-Key

3. Create an account using your credit card.

4. Log in and play.

5. Don't freak out if something weird happens, its either a server crash, your browers bad, or its just a plot twist.

6. Whenever you start the game again, it will check for updates. Just let it check or else you cannot play.

all you have to do is buy a pre payed card from best buy ect. that just has to be baught from the store and enter that number. no credit card involved =) :lol:
