On topic: WoW has actually way more good lore than people think. It's all inside the quest chains that people just don't read, cause they just automatically assume it's total crap anyways. For example the quest chain for Tirion in pre-TBC is just awesome and same goes for the UC attack chain in WotLK. The game is full of wonderful lore if people would just read the quests instead of complaining how shit the lore is.

now thats where you see it wrong. people are not complaining bout the shity lore they are complaining that WoW lore ahd to fuck up warcraft lore. most lore lover have much more respect for the original warcraft lore than for WoW's messed up lore. there are good story's in it indeed but it is all ripped out of place to fit in the game, thats all.

Ripped out? Many of the quests actually have been based on the old books and on lore of older warcraft games. And ofc they have to come up with something new like they did in WC3.

but i agree the old Warcarft 1-2 lore was amazing i abousltely loved it. but all of the alliance characters you played all are dead thanks to the WoW lore.

Hm. Wouldn't it be kind of idiotic if WoW players would get to kill Arthas? I mean, imagine yourself Youtube movies like "Lolololololol i kill artes with 1 preist holi"... It will completely destroy Warcraft Lore... I mean, the lich king who has the whole Scoruge under his command being killed in a matter of minutes by a bunch of geeks. That would suck. If they killed two Old Gods, the most powerfull black dragons, killed the dragons of the nightmare, some titans, the creator of the blue dragonflight(Malygos), Kael'thas, Illidan and some other "eternal" guys, why cant they kill Arthas. Like the kills of the most powerfull creatures of the world, matter something. This is the dark side of WoW lore.

WoW is messed up. I mean what every happens to Jania? Or the Naga? And why did the Dranai (I can't spell the name of them right) join the Alliance against the blood elves. Why did the elves not rejoin the Alliance? So many questions no answers. It says because of the night elves the elves are not in the Alliance. Clearly wrong it was Garithos! The elven priestess (can't remember her name) wanted to aid them!

The naga have become active after 10 000 years and started surface projects, such as melting of northrend and other stuff.
The draenei would join the Alliance anyway(the draenei who saw humans on draenor before it exploded, were impressed, plus the Alliance Expedition that was lost in Outland joined forces with the remaining draenei, so it was just a matter of time). the blood elves sabotaged Exodar and did many bad things, not counting the fact that they feed upon demonic energies.

The fact that remaining blood elves didnt join Alliance, is in fact Wow stupidity. They just needed someone to be in the Horde. It is also because of the fact that if the night elves try to tolerate high elves they just hate the blood elves.

WoW has idiotic and awesome stuff.
Lets face it. Sometimes Blizzard just cant stop.

Dranei were never suppose to crush with spaceship in the first place. A dranei from Dreanor aren't same as those that crushed so they couldn't know for expedition. And in warcraft 2 dranei didn't help humans in outland so how could they be impressed?

Why, how and when would blood elves shoot down a space ship? They were allies with Dranei in outland.

I think those draenei from warcraft 2 are the broken/lost ones.Those that crushed in Azeroth were the draenei,that stayed untouched by the Legion's corruption and fleed to Zangamarash .

As for the blood elves,their allies in Outland were the lost/broken ones,not the draenei!They shoot down the spaceship by disabling its engines and making crush into Azeroth.I guess the time all this happened,were 5-6 after the Battle for Hyjal xP

They were only mentioned as defeated race. Until Warcraft 3 it was thought that they are dead. In warcraft 1 it was said that Red planet was cleared of all orc enemy. I only know that mutated dranei exist in warcraft 3 and there was never any mentionig of normal dranei whole warcraft lore.

Draenei met humans in the novel Beyond the Dark Portal.
Blood elves were allied with the Broken(Ashtongue Deathsworm).

Plus blood elves took control of Tempest Keep, and when draenei came and claimed it to run away, blood elves sabotaged it.

Still novels aren't created by those who created lore and are bound to have mistakes. I can't remember which book but in one Warden was killed which is against Warcraft lore and WoW lore.
Then again if those books were available for me to read I would. I am sure that stories from Warcrafts past are cool.

But truth is that novels are also responsible for the lore screw up. The guy who is in charge of lore said that in his defense. The only thing in novels that is 100% correct are lore characters. Other stuff s open for debate.

You know, I was thinking about real alliances in WoW.
Those are: The Horde(Orcs, trolls, tauren, ogres and some goblins), The Alliance(Humans, dwarves, gnomes and high elves), The Avengers(Forsaken and blood elves), The Alliance of Kalimdor(High elves, humans, dwarves, gnomes. Presumably night elves and draenei too. Close ties to the Alliance, if not one), The Night Elves(Night elves, furbolgs and so on) and The Draenei(Draenei, broken). The Draenei are close allies of both Alliances and the night elves.

I never understod why would Night elf chose humans and not orcs? They were same to them in Warcraft 3 and also humans are allies with High elves so that should piss off Night elves. And Dranei as I understood have never before seen any of them. Only orcs and very unlikely humans. I think that Dreanei are the biggest problem. They just don't belong in Azeroth.

And as I said, the Night elves would probably stay aside from others, ut with good relationship.

Can you believe that one guy told me that orcs and humans are at war because of that Bonus campaign? Doesn't he know that orcs the moment Admiral died left theramor and didn't come back and Theramore humans didn't even want to fight. That was all fault of Kul Thiras not whole alliance.

It is one of the explanations. However I guss it is better explained by the fact that the humans in eastern kingdoms were a little damaged by the new horde, and their hatred for the horde and orcs. However I still think that Theramore and Bael Modan(And Wildhammer Peaks in the lore) should be horde-neutral/friendly.

The main problem is that Kalimdor alliance (if I can call them that) and Lordearon alliance or what is left aren't connected that much.

I know. So they should have differnt alliances. Like kalimdor alliance should be neutral to horde, unlike the Grand Alliance that would be in war with the Avengers.

Do you know what is the biggest fail of Scarlet crusade? That to have crusade you need to be christian. Then comes their attitude and then the Dread lords. I only like the idea of humans fighting the undead.

If Kel'thuzad had the flying Necropolis why didn't he use it? And why did he just let Forsaken to rise? Shouldn't he be like doing something? He was the most intelligent guy in Warcraft and now he is mindless boss.
