World Editor Save Fail?

Hey hmm, I spent my whole day yesterday working on this map, and by the time I was done, about 4 in the morning, I saved it just by clicking the save button (actually, I did clicked a lot of times throughout the making, Idk just a habit of mine)

But anyways, today when I woke up, and went and opened the Map File and for my surprise and deception, none of the changes I did yesterday were made.
I have no idea of what happened, I started looking around other maps to see if I didn't save it with a different name but at the end I couldn't find a different named file being the map with the changes I've made.

Anyone has a guess of what could've happened or maybe an auto-saved file that might retrieve it (Idk, I tested the map a lot and that should save the map as well)

EDIT: use save as,i have this problem also,but lazy fix,i use save as he save COMPLETE!

If the map you were working on was the last one you tested,then you can find it in folder where Warcraft maps are,find "Test" folder.

Picture of what? His map doesn't have the changes he made,what picture can he make out of that?

Also search your computer for all files updated in the last 24 hrs.

Tried to look for recent files but nothing...
Ahhh I'm so mad! I had it finished yesterday just to find out I'll have to do it all over again today -.-

Have you looked in the Test folder? It has to be there if you've tested it

Yeah it only opens the unchanged map -.-
I'm pretty sure I didn't only dream I changed the map yesterday lol! Plus, I'm not on drugs. This crap is bugged lol

Did you maybe restore system or such?
If not,then it's probably (actually,surely) a bug...

well the thing about saving is, theres a certain limit to how many times you can save on the same file name, so from time to time, when you save add a ~1, ~2 or something at the end of the file name. This happend to me and then i realized this. Esspecially big changed to the map, if you added a few KB's of data then you should probably change the file name

Are you running windows 7 / vista? If you are be sure to run world editor as administraitor or else it will not save. It will say it does but.. It doesn't

Yeah, it happens to me, I started noticing since I read this... I guess it's a WE glitch? Maybe some problem with Win XP? IDK
