[Solved] World Editor Not opening.

So as the title states my WE is not opening it just crashes saying WE is not responding.

i was Windows 10 so i downgraded to win 7 ultimate for issues with it and my we doesn't work now

Warcraft 3 Version 1.28.5

I tried running it in Windows vista/xp/7/2000 compatibility Still nothing.

Also my Wc3 stopped working aswell with the error "Couldn't open Game.dll"


EDIT:I managed to fix Wc3 with installing Visual C++ Redistributable 2013 x86
But the World Editor still broken and not opening.

I've had this issue when I tried to use both reforged and 1.31.1, back up your files (Maps / save)

1. hit Windows key + R
2. type "regedit"
3. expand HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Blizzard Entertainment
   
4. delete warcraft 3
   
5. reinstall
   
6. try editor

worked for me, uno importanto that you back up your stuff though.

This should be necessary only when patching to v1.27a from any previous version of the game.
