[Defense / Survival] Witchunters - ideas for monsters?

Some questions first. Is your main aim on this is killing Witches and such? And can you tell a story or lore about this project of yours for me to get a better view?

Well, you are a team or a solo monster hunter, aiming to kill all kinds of monsters. I thought Witchunter sound kinda like Witcher, and it sound kinda cool, so I picked that name.

So, monster killers, killing every kind of monster for bounty.

I hope even far beyond imagination monsters are allowed also so here and also I will put a rating base on how the monster should be strong:


Infected - Rating: 1/5
Model: Normal Wc3 Zombie
-Humans infected with an unspeakable disease that turned them to a monster of some kind, called Zombies or most likely called in a term of Infected.

Reaper
Rating: 2/5
Model: Demon Butcher
-A kind of an infected wearing a black mask making its overall identity unknown. This zombie is equipped with a scythe that can leave a deep wound to the people it cuts through.

Imp
Rating: 2/5
Model: Imp
-a kind of a demon that is small in size and mostly comes in quite a pack. This small creatures are called to be demons and can dodge quickly through attacks which makes them quite hard to kill.

Demonspawn Warrior
Rating: 3/5
Model: Slasher Demon
-A demon spawned from the depths of hell to serve and fight for their master forever. These warriors focuses more on damaging single target enemies so it will be better to kill them quickly before your life goes down and down until you die into these vile demons' hands.

Brutal Executioner
Rating: 4/5
Model: Hell Bull Tormentor
-Demon that has the mix appearance of a demon and a tauren. They are actually Tauren who are turned into demons. They are times stronger than normal Tauren. With their great mastery of the use of their weapon, they can wipe out group of enemies and also deeply wounded single targets. It will be better to come in a group when killing these kinds of giant demons.

Depends on what kind of monsters you're aiming for really, Christian lore? Egyptian themed creatures? Or just general monsters.
Try to create monsters that force players to think outside of the box or challenge them. Just the standard 'lots of hit points and damage' with the occasional 'ranged monster' is honestly boring. Monsters that, for instance, create illusions of themselves and the players, or temporarily charm other players to their side, or provide a shield aura to all nearby creatures baring themselves will switch things up.

How a bout a magic titan made of magic looks like steel golem but larger and has arcane runes on it and has all kinds of magical beings protecting it (beings work like the shadow hunters last skill)

Cauldron golem you know in TV and in movies all witches has cauldron well this monster has a cauldron head,a metallic armor has cauldrons for shoulderplates and its legs are made of bones and its weapons are the witch ladle and a giant broom and when it eaches 50 percent of its life it will lose some parts of its body and it is as large as kiljaiden(the cinematic one)

How about the Dark Lord? Use the Firelord model and tint it black or use this.

Should be a final boss or extra boss.

It has ability to create a portal of darkness (Spellname: Abyssal Gate) from the floor beneath the area targeted and deals damage to you if you stand in it. Standing over 5 seconds can get you killed and as long as the portal remains open, the portal continues to release dark creatures that can sprint at you. Extremely weak alone but powerful in numbers (high damage and low hitpoints). You could use the ghoul and add banish effect or tinted black to make it dark looking. Portal is closeable with magic damage or something you can think up of.

Also, another skill is a Shadow Hand. Forms a shadow beneath the target area. After 1 second delay, all enemies inside get gripped by the shadow and is unable to move for a few seconds. This spell will be repeated several times on cast until the Dark Lord becomes tired of doing so.

Third is the Dark Eye. Reveals the position of every player and sends out bolts of darkness to random targets every 1.5 seconds. The missiles launched can be destroyed with attack or spells. Extremely painful when hit but only works for those heroes who are within 1000 aoe from the Dark Lord.

When this boss appears, all other creatures will cower away due to the horrifying looks of this monster. Hope the ideas help.
