Windows Vista - Full Screen Mode

Well i have problems running old dos games and etc. in full screen mode on vista , they dont even start and it tells me a error about the full screen , i know that i can use DOS-Box to run those games but is there any way to run them full screen on vista or in Dos Box ?

I've never tried, but if it works with older Windows versions, you could run compatibility mode?
