[General] Windows Screensaver in wc3

Hey,

I was wondering if it's possible to create for a boss fight a cool terrain. I mean something like the legendary windows space screensaver where you travel across the space.

Maybe someone could help me to create such a thing?

I think a huge particle emitter would work. Something like the invulnerability field the archmages used but a lot more spread out and using the star texture.
That could be the star movement but I'm not really sure how that could be used in a terrain. :X

It is indeed possible with a particle emitter in a model. With high amounts of columns/rows and negative gravity.

Try if this works.

Just have a doodad that has no pathing use it.

You could use the alpha tile, sink the particle emitter thing below the ground and then add a plain black (a background with stars might work too) just below the sunk particle emitter.

Alpha tile is not related to modeling, it's more on terraining.

Y'know the invisible tileset. You can then use the model provided by mythic as a doodad and the sink it below the alpha tile.

Akay, so once I get home I create a doodad and use Mythic's model. I sink it below the basic terrain and miracles will happen. Sounds easy, but I wonder if it will work.

Sorry for that, the model was made without testing. Hopefully this one works, I tested it. Place multiple times if needed.
