Hey! I don't know if this issue belongs here, but it's about map editor as well. Recently I changed my xp into win 7 64 and the map editor's minimap seems very little as well as the boxes seem to have been slipped away (as on the attached pic.

I maybe as blind as a demon hunter for not noticing an enlarging option, but I have no clue how to fix this.

It's alright to be as blind as a demon hunter. They're so awesome that they don't even need their sight to own the battlefield :psmile:

Just hover your cursor over the areas where you see a double arrow like in this picture. Then you can drag it to any size you want.

Dr Super Good didnt say that it was a solution to your problem, did he?
He just mentioned that you have it enabled and when you disable it, you wil be gratefull to him.

Your problem is that you are just having a different window than you are used to have.
Everything is fine but you cannot see it equal as obvious as in XP.

The minimap is automatically as large as it can be.
Either enlarge the width of the total bar or adjust the height by a slider just below the checkboxes.
I don't know of a way to zoom in the minimap neither do you have to do that.

The minimap image that is generated on save for use in game is always a certain size and is compressed with jpeg compression to be ugly. That minimap in the editor is only of use to not get lost during editing.

You can alter its size simply by dragging the borders of the surrounding containers. It automatically expands to fit.

Ehh, the enlargening question was already answered, I asked about if the boxes can be make less disgusting. When I change the size these slides turn even more ugly due to some graphic glitch with windows 7 and I wonder if there's a solution for that. I made another pic to clarify it.

Please for the love of god follow DSG's advice. Go to Window-> Brush list (UNCHECK THIS)

Thank you for making the world a better place.

Brush list uncheck only make disappearing the problematic box with the contents at left size it doesn't solve the glitchy sides. -_- I tried it. if I click a unit in the tool palette and it's animations show up on the left side, it's similarly slipped away.

Just minimizing and maximizing the editor should fix the borders (like it does for me), but restarting the editor would definitely fix them. I don't think there's any other quick fix.

It's works as a temporal fix for the vertical slide, but as soon as I resize, it become glitchy again. Is it some win 7 incompatibility? Because I don't remember having such error on xp.

Probably, WE was never designed to support how W7 handles its interface. Old systems like XP used a lot of software resources to do the interface while W7 uses the GPU to speed it up.

Try disabling aero and see if that fixes the bug, yes it will make all borders look like they are from 1995 but it could fix it if aero is the cause.
