Win8 and JNGP?

Well yeah. It's not working.
Windows Defender deleted stuff but i replaced it and added it on the ignore list but still i can't start the test map from JNGP. Any ideas what might be the problem?

What exactly happens when you click "test map"?

What version are you using? Did you perform a clean reinstall of JNGP? Or did you just update particular files? I recommend reinstalling the whole JNGP just in case, and add then it to the ignore list of window's defender (or turn your firewall off).

Also, do you have any antiviruses?

Exactly nothing happens when i click it. The newest one. I just copied the files from old comp but then i reinstalled it.

How are we supposed to know if you downloaded the newest one or an older version from your answer ?

Step 1: Disable Windows Defender
Step 2: Run wc3 in compatibility mode for Windows XP
Step 3: Run all programs as admin (essentially disables Windows 8 permissions)

AAaand still nothing. It just minimizes JNGP but the war3 wont start. But nvm, war3 itself starts so i can test in a more complicated way but better than nothing.

Save map, then hit test map

Always do that because otherwise it wouldn't load the map but just start w3.

Did JNGP properly found the Warcraft 3 Folder?

since it was a reinstall it asked me to track it for it

That happens most of the time. Besides.. opening the map in Warcraft manually takes around 5-10 seconds, so it's nothing compared to not being able to test the map at all.
