Editing preplaced objects or creating new custom objects??

Does editing makes the game loads faster??

Most of the objects in my map are just edited version of the original (meaning, there is less custom objects), and it has a long loading time..

I get what he is saying, should he edit the units that are already made, (such as like peasants, footman, ghouls, abominations. etc, all those things, the units that have been made into the game, race units) or should he create custom units based off them and leave the race units as they are. I personally make my entire maps of custom units, im not sure if it slows it down but i do it because i can find everything and dont have to search through the race units.

I've figured it out, I tried resetting all standard abilities that I edited and when I start testing the map, the game loads 10x faster..

I always make custom abilities and optimize to keep the size down.

No sense messing with defaults when it's not a hassle to make new.
