>Improvise
You mean improve? Brainstorming ideas is the opposite of improvisation.
Anyways, I'd like to see something a little more innovative than killing wave after wave of creeps... Anything from builder creeps to triggered bossfights, really.
Another thing I would like to see is removal of +stat, +damage, +armor etc items, and instead make every item have a specific use. (i.e. blink dagger, axe of cleave, thunderclap hammer, the list goes on)
Minigame after each round.
Or a short (funny) cinematic part after each round.
I agree with ~Void~. I'm sick of constant wave after wave of random creeps. If it is a village/castle defense, then you need to think of the realism of it. An opposing army would do everything they can to get past the defenses/walls, this would include ladders, battering rams, etc. For an example of some things you could do in that retrospect, I suggest you play Tranquil's Fortress Siege.
Another thing I'd like to see are objectives for players to fulfill as a team to detour, weaken or slaughter the opposing force. Objectives can also upgrade the army or provide small awards. You really need to think about what you're setting is. From there you can establish the type of AI and the events/objectives that will unfold in your hero defense.
I like the idea with the minigames.
All the others are right with the too many waves of creeps. It gets boring.
Why don't you create special ways to take down creep numbers.
If every level has one general (with passive auras) you could hire an assasin to kill him.
You could by a gryphin or a flying machine to drop bombs on enemy.
You could stick poison in the enemy's stew to make the slow/slow poisoned.
You summon a shaman to (earthquake) bring out the ground from beneath them, slowing them.
There are so many ways you could weaken the enemy, it's SICK!
Epic spells
well 30 ways is a lot. but if you put in items, minigames, uprgradable towers, bosses and smart creeps ...
and things like thatAn opposing army would do everything they can to get past the defenses/walls, this would include ladders, battering rams, etc.
Do you think 30 waves is too boring if combine with interval boss events and other minigames events?
No not really, if you add all these ideas.
Clones of each character, i think that's possible xD the dark side of them. Maybe if these clones were the challengers, or bosses that comes sometimes.
A event that happens sometimes, where the heroes have to fight eachother in a event with waves of monsters for each hero, like mini-event, the one who stays alive longest = the winner, will get an unique item/ability/spell/mini-pet... ^^ PM me if ya likes the idea, or if you just did'nt understand the idea.![]()
AWESOME STUFF! KEEP IT UP!
November?
All the way to November?
Nooooooooooooo!
Cant be helpedExam is just around the corner...
I found that setting a set date to finish projects kills your brain and body, either take your time if you wanna go slow, or hurry up if you wanna go fast. Now you gotta set some fagged pace, and if you are late, were mad at you =D
If you finish early though, noone is there to congratulate you, cuase they wait till november....
A boss after every wave.
Each wave should have their own unique abilities![]()
Do you quote everything everyone says? =D
(I bet yur gonna quote this....)
QUOTE QUOTE QUOTE!
But quoting is usefull, other people also see to who you're talking too.
But add special heroes with ALL other abilities...
