Need: Hero Ideas for Team Hero Defense

Hi, I'm currently working on a hero defense where 2 teams try to survive longer than the other, but there's one problem; I can't think of any heroes!

What's a hero defense without heroes...so I need lots of help thinking of original heroes, each with a certain area of strength. Such as, some heroes are great at picking off units one by one, some can deal massive area damage/effects, some are necessary damage takers/tanks, and so on.

Hero ideas:

  • Demonic knight (can kill allmost anyone one on one but lacks in the area of support spells or atack spells for that matter(he has a higher strength stat than any other hero))
  • Battlemage (A mage that carries a sword(less armour then others) and a lower strength than a normal warrior and has both black mage and white mage spells at his disposal (also less hp than a mage)
  • (black)Mage (Devasating black magic spells but runs out of mana very fast he is hopeless alone but with a meatshield is very effective)
  • (white)Mage (Has good support spells that require small amounts of mana and have a very small cooldown, the downside to white mage is that he is useless in offensive battle but together with a offensive fighter he is very effective)
  • Sniper (carries a powerfull gun, but has a very large cooldown for his shots, his attacks are most powerfull and can mow down enemies quick, he has a small amount of armour but because of the weight of his gun he has little health)
  • Rouge (good at manipulating battle with its shaowmeld and quick strike abilities. Small armour allows him to move fast and escape easily, but because of his speed he lacks in armour (has high damage).
  • Dragon master (can summon dragons into battle but due to his dragon taming sword and fire proof armour he moves slowly and attacks weakly (his summons make up for this)
I can think of more but my hand hurts now.... :)

Hmmm, you should make a goblin hero (bot master). Use the profiteer model. He could be a summon/support caster. Intelligence
Spells:
-Jetpack - The profiteer flings himself through the air using rocket propelled jets.

-Fighter Bot -The profiteer builds a powerful figher bot to crush his enemies. It would be cool if the bot had a call to arms (burrow) like skill so if the profiteer was in it it would attack better.

-Demo bot -The profiteer would create a mini-explosive bot. The bot would well. . . explode.

-Electrik Strike -The profiteer closes to melee and delvers a powerful electrical blow dealing AOE damage (frost nova)

The profiteer should also have a repair skill.

Also a ninja hero. He would be an agility hero.

Spells:

-Shuriken -Shoots forth a shuriken which colldes with a unit dealing damage depending on range (if you can't contact a JASSer.

-Cloak -Lifts up his cloak deflecting incomg projectiles. This would be a short term defend.

-Flurry of Blades -Attack one target multiple times.

-Stealth -A short term windwalk with a -move speed bonus but high, high backsrab damage.

Sorceror. The sorceror is some one born with inate magical abilities.

Spells:

-Magic Nova - eminates a magical force wave from the position of the sorceror. Should knock units back (or possibly down)

-Soul Spear - A shockwave skill that damages % of life.

-Relocation - Long ranged, long casting time blink.

-Teleport field - See teleport field (by me) for an idea. That is a very basic version but the goal of the spell is to relocate all units within x of the caster to another position within x of the caster (x = any distance (recommend 500-800)).

Blood Mage: not the war3 blood mage who has nothig to do with blood!

Spells:

-Lash of Blood -swings a (staff?) infront of him dealing life-sucking damage to all those infront (JASS)

-Vampiric Strike -single life sucking blow which transfers life imediatley and knocks the enemy unit down.

-Blood Potion -harvests a neaby corpse creating a blood potion (healing over time)

-Blood Bath -rains unholy blood on the area (cool looking monsoon)

-Right of Binding: binds units life togethet. Damage to one = damage to other.
Life to one = life to other as well.

Rock Golem

The rock golem would be a powerful stregth hero good at bludoning enemies.

Spells:

-Rebirth - A "sleep" mode with enhanced regeneration.

-Charge - Turns the golem into a living shockwave charging through enemies knocking them back. (JASS)

-Crushing Blow: Strikes a powerful blow against one target knocking them over and slowing them for a time (crushed legs)

-Hardened Rock: Increase Armour and deflects damage (5%?) (spiked carpace)

Frost Lord/Revenant

Ice Blast
Blasts ice to a target unit dealing damage to it and deals minor damage to all enemy units near the target and slows them. (Frost Nova)

Frost Nova
Freezes all nearby enemy units. Freezed units are unfreezed when attacked. (War Stomp with 0 damage and 0 stun. Then a trigger that pick all nearby units of the caster and pick those and create 1 dummy that has Sleep on a position of every unit picked and cast that.)

Chilling Aura
Aura that slows nearby enemy units attack and movement speed. (Endurance Aura)

Breathe Frost (Needs better name(Ultimate))
Breathes # waves of frost towards the target point dealing # damage per second to all enemy units. (Channeling Blizzard + Dummy with that uses Breathe Frost on a every second to a target point untill waves end or the caster stops channeling.)

Agility Hero-Knife Thrower-Powerful if you Can click fast
Passive Ability-When told to move somwhere you teleport a small distance
[-Unit Given an order-Has this ability-Unit Move, Polar offset, 10xAbility Level, Angle between target point of command and your unit.]
Semi Auto Spell-Finger of Pain
3 sec cooldown-Magic Ward (The Ward can cast, Mana Sheild, Essence of Blight, Kaboom and taunt)
9 Second Cooldown-Squeel (Roar that only upgrades allied units running Speed)
Ultimate: Regeneration-

Strength Hero-Tank-Powerful Inheritly
Passive Ability-Safty net-Everyone Regenerates Health Faster
Semi Auto Spell-Self Heal-Heals a very amount of HP per time casted
3 Second Cooldown-Autocast Animate Dead
9 second Cooldown-Warstomp-Obvious
Ultimate-Rebirth (Allows Units around you to be reborn on your side after you die and are reborn)

Intelligence Hero-Archer-Powerful if Given some time to become powerful... needs time
-Passive Ability-Mana Regen-Brill that only hits self
-Semi Auto Spell-Chance Buff-Target Area is under the effect of chance and May either gay life or lose life over time.
-3 Second Cooldown-Judgement (3 Second Casting Time) (Hurts enemies heals allies) (AoE)
-9 Second Cooldown-Playing Games-Summon Lava Elemental that has no attack but can turn into a Tank (Destroys Speedy attacker 1 on 1), A speedy Attacker (loses to five units one on one) or split into five units (Loses to Tank)
-Ultimate: Guardian-Summon a Second Hero That Has Every Passive Ability and 3 autocast spells
