I rate this resource by 1/5 and I suggest it for Rejection because of these reasons below:

1. 9MBs of music? 1MB for sounds? I had to wait that long to download the music? This is unacceptable.
2. Map contains with grammar mistakes.
3. Needs to fix the cinematic mode ON action, because at start it's obvious that it turns on the coarse way. Same with the end. Why you turn off the cinematic mode at end? Way too unprofessional.
4. Credits took two or even three times longer than the main cinematic. Timer must be reduced.
5. Map description and description at hiveworkshop needs to be improved.
6. Why you write in CAPS and spam the exclamatory mark? It looks childish.
7. Terrain needs to improved. Too many empty spots and too much of bushes/shrubs spammed into one spot.
8. Rude words and rude sounds as 'HOLY SHIT' are not acceptable, at least for me.
9. I saw the edge of game in your cinematic. That's unacceptable.
10. It was not clear, when the credits starts and when the cinematic itself ends.

I'm going to be pretty blunt here, which I usually tend to avoid.

This has got to be one of the worst cinematics I saw proportionate to the team size and the file size. It's not the worst cinematic but, taking into account that you had like 5 beta testers and few people that assisted you on this, it's horrible.

My first suggestion is to get new beta testers. The ones you currently have seem to know next to nothing about cinematics, or for that matter warcraft in general.

Now on to the actual cinematic. The terrain sucked pretty much everywhere. You use little to no tile variation, no height variation except the noise tool(ugh, biggest mistake ever). You also use blizzard cliffs and blizzard trees. While the shrub doodad is pretty nice spamming it won't give you a good terrain on its own.

The cameras were bad as well. Not only do you constantly have monotone movement where there is movement but you also have horrible angles. Add more cameras, better angles and more diverse movement.

The story is pretty... random. I mean it's not even a story, just a show of how a peasant kill stuff.

The screenplay has got to be the worst I've seen. You do know that after a dot (.) you have a capital letter, right? Not only that but you have tons of spelling and grammar mistakes. Come on! Five beta testers and NONE of them know how to write? Also, things like THX, PWNED, UBER are not words and should be avoided at all costs, unless it really really is intentional(like making a cinematic about battle.net noobs that can't write properly).

The effects were non-existent except the final credit scene where they were pretty much spammed randomly.

The file size is insane considering that you use no custom meshes, textures or sounds apart from the two lame songs you have.


My biggest advice for you, if you want to create an approvable is to definitely get a new team as your current one can't map for beans. Usually such efforts are, well, common, but people work alone and they make this. They don't have a team of 10 people and make something so simple.

As I said, I usually refrain from posting such blunt topics as they usually discourage the author but you need to completely reset your roots if you want to at least create an average map.

Hehe, CMarket, the fact that this map had that much of testers, makes me laugh.
It's obvious that this cinematic was made by not experienced young teens, as you said, about battle.net noobs.

In my opinion, the killer of this resource is it's size and entire credits motion.

Don't give up, hard work and experience that comes up with time makes resource better and better.

You should start fixing the points that requires to be improved and are mentioned in this thread instead giving up.

When you make a map without a proper planning, that is the price you would paid for it.

1) Description - Full of non-contributive information, unprofessional and childish. It look like it was written by a 5 years old kiddie.
2) File Size - 9mb for for such a short cinematic? No custom resources and no voice act, but the file size shook up to 9mb because of 2 music only. Although it was a single player map, you should control the file size. If it contain voice act or custom sound for special effect, I could have forgive it; but the current size was too ridiculous seeing that it only contain 2 music.
3) Camera - Awful, it keep spinning during the battle between peon, acolyte and nightelf. You want to create a good effect with camera during battle, you should not make the camera rotate the same way all the time.
4) Terrain - Poorly develop, I don't bother to explain it since CMarket already does the dirty job for me.
5) Scripting/Triggering - Very poorly develop.
6) Special Effect - Nothing special about it, Aeroblyctos special effect look better than this.
7) Fun/Replayability - Nothing fun about it, it makes me feel retarded after watching it. Especially after I notice that you turn the peasant head 180 degree.

This map cannot even be submitted to epicwar.com since epicwar.com file size limit was 8mb.

Do not bother to submit it to thehelper.net either, cause file size limit was about 3mb at thehelper.net.

I warn you, do not submit it to wc3c.net either; unless you want to taste the wraith of Captain Griffen.
