Well of Truth

A well of truth!
It was used by wizards and witches to know about secrets. They also used it like a crystal ball, to see the faith of others.

Made to be used as a doodad.
Only has stand and stand portrait animation.
Uses in-game textures

Update: Lowered the water, to make it look better.

Added Portrait Model! Can be used if you want a more shallow water or clear water.
I don't know why it says crystal.blp should be downloaded, because i only used in gane textures :(

Update: Fixed the texture, now back to its low file size :)

Update!: Added death animation for the model file! (portrait animation coming soon!). Special thanks for Misha and TLI - Inferno :)

Update: Added death animation for portrait :D They can be used, even without portraits, they have a portrait animation of their own.

Update: Fixed the bug in the portrait's death animation

Please give credits if used! :D

Hmm.. I think i can't, but i'll try :)

Select the vertices of the water plane, and lower them; it's as simple as that.

Anyway, you're getting better, 3/5.

You might want to work on the UV mapping for the well part, it's a bit blurry, if you forgot how just re-check the PM I sent you. To make it less blurry, you would move the wrap around until it covers a larger part of the texture, increasing resolution.

I don't think its as simple as lowering the vertices of the water, try to look closer or under the model, its not connected so when i lower it, it looks that it has a space that will make it look weird. D:

I'll try to increase it, or maybe look for another texture that is suitable :)

Thanks

Copy the outside, shrink it, put that on the inside, then you can lower the water. I just did it, but I'm going to let you do that yourself since it's your model.

sorry for the large file size, i don't know why the crystal.blp needs to be downloaded, even though its an in-game texture, D:

You removed the texture path, so it can't find it in the .mpq.

Find your texture again in the .mpq, add it as a texture, replace the texture in the material layer, and then remove the pathless texture.

Some editors allow you to change a texture's path, but if you can't, then that's the quickest way to fix it.
