Weird Virus in Firefox

Hey guys,

I am hoping someone can help me...

Recently my internet browser (FireFox) has started acting strangely. Every now and then when I click on a link, it will redirect me to another page ! I then have to press Back and then click on the link again and it works.

Could this be some strange virus? I have scanned my computer with Avast! Free, but it couldn't pick anything up. I will try to get the web address of the page I get redirected to next time it happens.

Try clearing your cache and downloading Malware Bytes.

It might be an adware toolbar.

It hasn't happened recently. If it does, I will clear the cache. As far as I can see, the only toolbars that are there are the ones that should be.
