A highly decent gameplay terrain takes no more than 2 hours. You get 72 hours. A half decent code depending on what your doing takes from 5 mins to 8 hours.

A higher pool score allows for more accurate judging and better precision in balance of different topic.

For example.

Pool score of 5

Gameplay 1
Terrain 1
Code 1
Etc

You cant balance it at all and it becomes really difficult to decide whether or not the map is viable for each section.

Now lets expand that

Pool 50

Gameplay 17
Terrain 13
Code 10
Etc

That fails also as you can still balance it
So lets try Pool 100
Gamplay 30
Code 20
Terrain 25
Etc

Do you get my point?

The higher a pool the easier it is to get a specific number . Lets do out of 1000
Gameplay 300
Terrain 250
Code 200
Etc

See now you can minus 1 point for very tiny problems and How much u see fit for larger problems. I.E Spelling error -1 point But not repeat in same sentance. Playabillity any bugs u find u can do marginal minus. 1 Leak could be say if its 1% of the code 5 points minus

Thus leading to a highly accurate score to what you would rate it instead of thinking. Does it make the 15 mark or the 14? hmm is it really that playable

I'm sure everyone has a slight different set of criteria on what to rate a submission on, but we must abide with what set of rules were decided before the contest starts. Maybe next time we can have a longer period of discussion before beginning any mapping contests? It all depends on the organizer's initiative though.

And I also think that -Kobas-'s highest rating of 2/5 Lacking is quite fair. I don't expect a three day map with the addition of contest constraints would be easily approved in our map section.

Okay, I'm looking forward to the judges' comments tomorrow. Would consider it an extra if you guys can give a few tips on how to further improve on our maps :)

Oh just as a point towards Spinnaker. I converted it to no UMSWE now just for you. I really don't understand how they down mark someone for using UMSWE if its in Gui as its not really possible to fix unless u dont use UMSWE. The only trigger i actually have in gui is
Order Picked unit to attack random unit in unit group Survivours, or something along those lines. IN the Zombie spawn part

Good luck to all contestants. Looking forward to seeing the results tomorrow
