weapon attachment problem

this is prob an easy problem but when i attached a gun to max payne in blender using bone parenting it looked great and worked with all animations but when i tried to export it to warcraft the weapon kinda went into the air but it still gets affected by the hand bone, before playing the animation the gun looks in its correct place (i placed the gun according to the shooting/attack animation)

Honestly, you got a weird armature setup in Blender, like you linked the gun to an empty object or something.
I can't really explain as I am not this knowledgeable on Blender, maybe next time I make a rig in it I'd look more into it.
If you open the mdl, the gun mesh isn't properly positioned relative, easiest fix is to move the gun in the exported mdl, see picture below.

i dont know how i didnt think about this, i just move the gun in retera, mindblowing
