WE unlimited error!

My maps wont boot up, I click test map in WE, and it doesnt work.
So i tried doing it manually and it still doesnt work.

I get like over 6000 script errors when i save, although i think this is normal because it has done this with other maps and I had no problems.

Id really like to fix this as ive just spent 2+ hours terraining an epic size map....

have tried rebooting and doesnt work.

wondering if somone can fix this, any advice, point me in the right direction or maybe this is a common problem with WE and theres an easy fix?

WE unlimited is horrible for everything but terraining

That's the risk of using unlimited. It's a use at your own risk program. There is a chance it will corrupt your map. If you have an older version of the map I would suggest using that. Or scavange what you can from that one.

your kidding me... is there anyway at all to save the terrain?
replace the map.j file or something weird like that?

okay, *sigh of relief*
I was able to disable all the WEU stuff with the WEU enchancer. Then i opened it in regular wc3 world editor and it now works.


damn that scared me though.. ruined my day lol.

Edit: also I will never use WEU again...

I don't see any point in weu when you can use newgen and get the miscdata.txt but glad you saved the map. Happy mapping

I also recommend using NewGen. The only thing you should use WEU for is the enhancer, to make the maps. Cus then you can make em epic sizes Else use NewGen for the rest

ya same thing happened to me i spent like 20 minutes trying to fix it but then i just copied my terrain over to another map in normal WE you know how to do that right? just open terrain palette click the select tool and select your whole map

WEU is a load of crap and shouldn't be used at all.
