Note: set the scaling value to about 1.5 for the same size as the default Water Elemental.

Note 2: the Fire Elemental missile is the same as the default Water Elemental missile (recolored), I recommend using the Lava Spawn missile.

nice and useful, existing ones on hive that ive seen either lack tc or make a blue water streak in the air when punching, or both. Thank you for posting.

if you're taking suggestions, maybe the death anim could be a little fire cloud taken from some doodad or similar rather than a spout of red water?

Hmm yeah good idea. I'm bad with particle effects but if I can copy it from somewhere it might work.
edit: lava spawn has some nice effects

v3 portrait should be fixed now.
 
That said, definitely not Orcs & Humans material, if that was the intention.
Nope, that's the variations I might add (still not sure xD).

I think the idea is good, it would be great if the corresponding missiles were included, for example, the one published by the beer elemental
I think the Lava Spawn missile is pretty good for fire elementals.
 
Ok, made some new birth & death effects, mostly taken from the Lava Spawn. Hope you like it xD

Edit: also added a missile, which is just the water elemental missile with red/blue inverted and using the same FireBlobs.blp texture.

Really cool idea! Some variations or inspirations from WoW could be interesting.

Like the more liquid-like Elementals. (Water Elemental)
Swamp Elemental, Mud Elemental, Beer Elemental/Alemental, Sand Elemental, Mercury/Quicksilver Elemental.

The more rocky/solid ones. (Earth Elemental)
Ice Elemental, Obsidian Elemental, Magma Elemental.

The windy-like ones. Gaseous if you will. (Air Elemental)
Wind Elemental, Dust Elemental, Sound Elemental, Snow Elemental

And the last category I can think of that can apply to multiple categories (Solid and liquid, liquid and gas, gas and solid)
Mana Elemental, Fel Elemental, Light Elemental, Shadow Elemental, Void Elemental, Nether Elemental, Drakkari/Mojo Elemental.

A lot of good ideas could be derived from WoW and the WC3 campaign.

Do you need an external skin? Look, I'll switch to the original skin so that I can save on importing game files.Additionally, it would be great if the water element of Warcraft 1 could be incorporated into the swimming action.

Those look good, nice job! Maybe I'll switch to the lava lump texture too instead of the custom FireBlobs texture.

I'm working on optimizing the Infernal model (integrate portrait, delete duplicate mesh - reanimating the Death animation is a bit difficult xD) so I can edit it for the WC1 Fire Elemental. Will probably be a fairly simple edit.

Unlike WC1 Water Elemental, Fire Elemental has feets and I think it is more humanoid then his water counterpart. Maybe you should use another model instead of Infernal model because Infernal model is too big and it looks too bossy for such a neutral unit. The model should attack with his fists. The Fire Elemental unit model appears in 4:28.

According to Wowpedia, WC1 Water Elemental has more HP than WC1 Fire Elemental and attack damage is the same. WC1 Water Elemental has 40 piercing damage while WC1 Fire Elemental has 40 basic damage. So, the WC1 Water Elemental is stronger than WC1 Fire Elemental overall.
Ugh, if there'd be a way to test it. I remember the Fire Elemental's attack speed is much greater. Also, I don't know if basic damage isn't more powerful? Or it might be against some armour types?
Apparently Piercing Damage doesn't have reduction?
Also, apparently Cooldown is the attack speed so the Water Elemental has a faster one by -1.

I tried it with the lavalump texture, I think it looks better (more like fire) with the custom texture, so I'm gonna leave it.
 
Really like the idea of bringing back the fem water elemental, but only one problem: It lacks a birth animation which makes it somewhat useless as a summon currently.
Added a birth animation (basically copied from the regular Water Elemental), also changed the death sound to Water Elemental instead of Banshee :P

edit: hang on, gonna scale it down because the model is smaller than the regular water elemental, also need to get rid warnings in model checker.
