GitHub - cazala/react-coin-hive: Mine cryptocurrency while your users haven't engaged with your content lately

This software will use your CPU to mine Monero, an altcoin. I want to ask the Warcraft III community this: Would you be fine with your computer running this software when you are playing a Warcraft III map, mining for the creator of the content you are consuming.

More likely this would only be usable in a war3 lobby which, depending on how you are playing War 3 , may not even be performed inside of War3. This coin can be mined through GPU, and frankly little GPU is used by Warcraft. Such coins are could possibly be implemented ingame, with throttling of course.

If it worked on latest patch I might have thought otherwise however I think this is a bad idea even so.
Could you elaborate on this? By latest patch you're talking about b.net's live version? I don't think theyve patched out the new method of instantiating memory, so this should be possible to do.
