Hello, I am not sure if this is the right place but I wanted to ask an odd question. My OCD brain just wont let it go.

Now we all know about the Reforged debacle but was it actually possible to succesfully remaster Warcraft 3 while keeping the original engine(32-bit, single CPU core) ?
Thanks for all the answers.

It is technically possible but only to a limited extent, you would need to keep the core gameplay simulation and replace rendering and networking, while the single core limitation would still restrict AI and pathfinding unless the engine is significantly reworked.
