Do you already have an idea as to what they should look like (e.g. concept art)?
For that Breeding Pit... I was just trying to figure out the same issue for my Trolls. Can't you use a flat plane with the web texture stretched out on it (with transparency of course)? Stuff like the Gargoyle Spire have web 'designs', but not true webs...
