A wc3 cinematic with its special format can be appended to a map, meaning it will played after the map has finished. Real movies are not possible, they may be very differently coded anyway but I know that Crigges has tried some converter to transform a video to mass image files or an animation that is then applied to wc3 images or a unit model or whatever.
