That would make each model 70Gb in size.. Please don't do that, make the size less. 70Gb would take like a year to download :(

EDIT: wait a second... this does not make any sense!

It's like it's not WarCraft anymore. WTF are you doing making this?! Get hired by Blizzard or Bioware for fuck's sake. xD

The model is kinda stiff though.

WTF? 512^2 resolution means 512 pixel x 512 pixel... a normal icon has 64^2 (64x64) so one texture of an icon is ~6 kb. One Texture for a complete armorset is 683 KB if uncompressed. Thats not that big at all. And DW will be single player, so who cares about filesize?

    Nope.
512^2 = 512*512 and you said high, so the height of the texture you said was 262144 pixels.
So the image is 512x512 pixels size.
Shit, I tried to load a 200000x200000 image in Warcraft and I've got blue screen. Lol.

I better should have used "" to make it easier to understand. For now the used textures are in 512x512 "high resolution" ~683 kb... got it now? Could we now plz stop this kinda useless discussion?

    Oh lol.
I jumped like that because I thought it worked for you. :xxd:

    BTW, I get it now.
(There is a difference between "high" and "high resolution")

Good job! This post does not express the awesomeness of this project, it's hard to.

Do we get a game controller for this? I find it a bit akward to use the mouse to control my guy! :p

You will be able to use the arrowkeys for movement as well as klicking the ground/your targets. To bad there is no way I know to bind the camera orientation to your mouse. So a control like in most egoshooters etc. won't work :(

Yesterday I decided to create the arrow movment system just for fun. And I must say it turned out nicer than I thought. You can find a preview in the first post of this thread.
