This is my map. It is not very old and I want to hear some of your reviews about it.

Map Basics:

Vampirism Nightmare is tag type map in which 2 teams (Humans and Vampires) fight for domination over the battlefield. Vampires goal is to turn all Humans into Vampires by killing their main workers. Humans goal is to run into one of possible bases to establish defense and eventualy kill vampire.

Game terrain is divided into 3 parts. First part, upper right corner, is place where Humans can pick their races from taverns. If a unit enters that region it will be killed. Second part, right from Human taverns, is Vampires place (designed as Hell). It contains Vampire's Tavern, Fountain that restores Health and Mana, their basic item and recipie Shops. Any Human intruders near Vampires fountains will be killed. Third part, the rest of the map, is actual battlefield where Humans can build their bases.

One more thing is important in this map, and that is teamwork. Combine Human races and Vampire classes in order to cover up your weaknesses and show your strength.

About Vampires:

There are 12 (so far) different Vampire types in this map. Each Vampire player can choose only 1 type. Vampire player has to wait 1 minute (of game time) before he can pass through portal and enter Human's realm. There, they have to find Human's main workers and kill them. In that period he can choose his Vampire class, look for availible items items and recipies in nearby shops to choose his item build.

Every Vampire has 6 skills. First 2 are Far Sight and Siphon Soul Essence. Far Sight is given to Vampires after 1 minute of game time has passed. Other skill, Siphon Soul Essence can be used on Harvesters (they chop wood from trees for Humans constructions). Siphoned Harvester dies within a second and gives Vampire 1 lumber (used for advanced items and recipies).

Other four skills are learnable Hero skills. Usually Vampire has Wind Walk, Damaging Spell, Healing Spell and Passive or Aura. Those four skills have hotkeys: Q for first Spell, W for second, E for third and R for fourth (as it is shown on picture below).

Through game, Vampire must find and destroy as much Human bases as possible. Every destroyed building and killed item gives experience and gold to Vampire. In order to survive stronger Humans bases, Vampire must be high leveled and have good items.

Good items are a must for destroying strong Human defenses. On your disposal, there are over 35 basic items and 23 recipies (so far). Before game starts, be sure to check all items and match them to your Vampire (form an item build), because most items are better on specific Vampires.

There are some important things concerning Vampire's gameplay. First, be sure to pick your Vampire before 1st minute of game time, so you can begin your hunt early. Try making your item build so you don't buy wrong items. Find weak Human bases using Far Sight and destroy them to gain levels and gold. Use Siphon Soul Essence as much as you can. Allways be prepared for fast Wind Walk runs in case that Human's towers are too strong. Teamplay is important for Vampires, so you have to use both Vampire's Skills in order to take down stronger human bases. Every time you destroy building or kill unit you have small chance that gold will drop. Be sure that Humans don't pick it up with their Slayers.

About Humans

There are 22 different human races (so far). Each human player can choose 1 race. In the beginning of the game, humans have to run to 1 of potential bases. There, they must build as many Harvesters as they can so they have many lumber at their disposal. Eventualy they have to build Walls at their bases pinch points so Vampires can't get in and kill their main Workers and Towers to damage Vampires.

Human main workers are their most important units. They can build structures, and if they die, Humans loose. Each race's Main worker has same stats: 200 hp and 10 mana. Each Main worker has ability to blink (teleport a short distance) which costs 2 mana, so you have to be careful in its usage and Repair ability (repairs allied structures).

There are 3 cathegories of Human's structures: Infrastructure, Walls and Towers. Infrastructure mostly consists of Lumber Mills (trains Harvesters), Houses (gives food), Upgrade Centers (contains useful resarches), Altars (trains Slayers) and Wall Of Health (provides AOE hp regeneration). There are 2 advanced Infrastructure buildings: Slayers Vault (techtree requirment) and Gold Mine (gives 1 gold every minute).

Walls are build at pinch points of your base to prevent vampires from entering. Every wall upgrade doubles its hp (total of 7 upgrades). Towers are also upgradeable 6 times, incerasing their damage.

As you have Heroes in Melee game, in Vampirism, Humans have Slayers. Slayers are trained Vampire hunters which skills can significantly improve defense of your base. They have 5 hero skills (learnable). First 3 are Web (imobilises Vampire), Blink (instant teleportation over whole map) and Attribute Bonus (gives bonus 2 stats). Other 2 are different for each Human race.

Slayers gain experience every 45 seconds in special map are called train area. You can also buy them Tomes from Slayers Vault.

One thing is important when playing with Humans, and that is early defense. You must build Wall and Towers as soon as possible. Also, don't mass walls, but upgrade them. Below is a picture of good early defense. When you establish good defense, save for Gold Mine and Slayers Vault. Steal gold that drops from Vampires with your Slayer.
