Using different animations for a doodad

I'm trying to use the cannon tower building as a doodad, but it uses the same model file as the gaurd tower and arcane tower. The model is changed only by the stand animation it's using, but I see no way to change a doodads animation. I don't want to use triggers either.

Help please, any suggestions?
 
you cannot do it in the WE... you need to trigger it or edit the model in Magos...

open Magos
Click Window -> MPQ browser -> open wa3.mpq or war3x.mpq (im not sure where cannon tower is but probably war3x...
Search for the guard tow
Open it
Open sequence manager
Then rename the animations which pertain to the cannon tower to be the normal animations of the guard tower
Save
Import the model on your map...

Ah but that is the problem, doodads do not have anims, yet this building does, so in-game as a doodad it will constantly change between gaurd tower and cannon tower.

It would work for a unit, but I don't see how it could work for a doodad. Thanks though.
