1. if you already have groups for your model go to the materials tab
2. click on the upper <none> button below the ambient and specular buttons
3. look for your texture
4. go to groups tab and select those that you want to assign your texture on
5. go back to materials tab then click assign.

ok now select those groups you want to modify your texture to.
click on the window tab on the upper portion, then select texture coordinate editor

1. on the left part, select the group you want to put textures to
2. press the region button then make a square on where you want the model to take texure to.
3. select what viewport it is from, (top, left right, etc) then press remap
4. use the select, rotate and scale buttons to modify other things to your liking

to import ingame textures, download this http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/tools-560/warcraft-iii-viewer-62878/

extract it then open it.

1. it should automatically open up your warcraft III mpq, if not maybe you installed your warcraft in another place so you should look for your warcraft III. normally it should be in C:\Program Files\Warcraft III
2. there is that button on the top, click the blp button. look for the texture you desire then open it.
3. click on the button that says blp with one arrow, not the one that has 2 arrows.
4. save it as whatevernameyouwant , you can save it as bmp, jpg, tga. normally its bmp
