I'm editing WoW Risk (got permission and map from Priwin) and units are able to walk in the water. I have the correct tile set to unwalkable (using NewGen) but this tile is only used for mountains anyways. There's no cliffs, just raise/lower, if this has anything to do with it.

Sorry if this has already been answered, for some reason I'm not able to use the search engine (no matter what I type in it says ' Sorry - no matches.'

Thanks a lot for any help!

I guess that would be in water. There are no cliffs, if you've ever played WoW Risk the mountains are just raised terrain with a rocky, unwalkable tile and the water is just lowered terrain, I assume by using this same method http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/general-mapping-tutorials-278/creating-rivers-rolling-shores-29389/.

Here's a screenshot of it happening

The relationship between terrain and pathing map has broken down. Getting those areas to rebuild their pathing map should fix it hopefully.

Thank you for the answer, but how might I do this? I really have no clue.

Also, in response to earlier posts, the map uses Jass, so I cannot open it in regular wc3 editor, only NewGen.

And, the units movement type is just Foot.

Back up and Delete all vjass triggers on the map, then open the map with regular editor, save it, open it with newgen, import all the vjass triggers again

Deleted all the triggers, opened it in regular editor, saved it, then tested it, and the units could still walk through the water. I didn't re-open it in NewGen though, I figured if saving it in regular editor didn't work then opening it in NewGen would do nothing to solve the problem.

Also tried exporting files and importing all the environment files onto a blank map, then saved it in regular editor, but to no avail. Then I tried this same process 2 more times, once without importing the pathing file and once importing only the terrain file, but with no success.

do you have miscdata.txt? if you do, remove it from your wc3, reopen the editor and save the map, the close the editor and you can add miscdata.txt again

you will need to do this every time you want to save, so you only really need to do it when releasing a public version
I use NewGen not regular editor, so this shouldn't apply to me?

it dosn't matter which editor it is, miscdata.txt will break pathing on either. it's a script thing which allows you to make your mountains heights taller, but it breaks pathing, so it has to be removed before you save but the mountains will still keep their height.

First open with mac normal editor, then save the map, and then open it by normal editor on xp
I actually tried that, but I saved it on vista not xp, didn't work.
