I'm trying to remember how I edit a unit so that it can be upgraded to several different units. I can't use the destroyer ability because each unit can only use 1 skill base off of that one. I remember edit a militia so that it can be upgrade to 5 diff units. The property "Techtree - Upgrade To" only apply to building now for some reason.

That's not true...
You can use a lot of abilities based off that one, as long as their "Base Order ID"/"Order String" is different.

That's how you for example add multiple spellbooks to 1 unit.

E.g.:
1st spell base order ID = sphinxform/unsphinxform (standard destroyer Order String)
The 2nd can't be the same, so I just take another one (that I won't use for that unit), so then it will be Avatar/Unavatar

It's as simple as that :D
It won't change the spell (Unless the abilities I've used it for were all exeptions :p)

I would have just created a dummy ability that triggered a script that removed the triggering unit and added a unit of the new type at the location of triggering unit. Covering any leaks, of course :)
