Tutorial for Editing the Warcraft 3 UI

Hello!

I've been looking for a tutorial all around about how to edit the User Interface. I'm planning on making a custom one but can't seem to remember how to do it (was able to do it once before). It's quite a surprise really that there aren't any tutorials about it.

If there is can someone lead me to one?

Don't think there is one.
I think you could put the original UI on a layer with 50% trans or something. Then an empty layer on top where you draw, this way you know it is the correct size and whatnot.

I think you can just extract the original UI image files, convert them from blp into png/tga to edit and see the exact dimensions and where alpha is, then start editting/creating.

Yep I succesffully did it. Might try to make a proper tutorial in my spare time for people who are interested in editing the UI
