I'm so lost at that tutorial. First, it doesn't say what is a raw code or a constant name and i had to search it on google and it seems to be a name on the object editor. I still doest understand it but, i have other questions too.

* The one i have said.

* In the "Building Strategy" section... do I have to create a new document in the program or its in the same? He doesnt say about it.

* I dont understand practically nothing.

Can someone put a video-tutorial or send me a map with jasscraft things done so i can learn it, the tutorial is simply unintelligible. It's so hard to newbie mappers like me.

Im talking about: http://blizzardmodding.info/4238/how-to-make-a-campaign-ai/

If you're new to map editing, then that tutorial is just going to confuse you--especially since it expects JASS knowledge.

The first question to ask yourself for AI is: what do I need AI for? Do you need it for a melee or altered melee map? Or is it for an RPG?

The AI editor is pretty good for when you need the computer to behave like a melee computer. e.g. build expansions, level a hero, creeping, etc. If you are on that boat, then I recommend looking at these tutorials:

http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/jass-ai-scripts-tutorials-280/ai-editor-29314/

If your map does not concern melee building, I honestly find it easier to work purely with triggers. They're more intuitive and easier to control, but it is usually more work and more things to consider. This tutorial gives nice insight on planning your AI:
http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/trigger-gui-editor-tutorials-279/how-make-ai-your-map-245613/
While the example is specifically geared towards AoS maps, you can apply a similar method to any custom map.

For campaign AI's, it honestly varies from map to map. e.g. for dungeon crawler maps (like the one with Thrall and Cairne, or the Jailor Kassan level in the blood elf campaign) you don't really need AI except for boss fights. Sometimes it is easier to learn through example than through a tutorial. Try extracting the campaigns from war3.mpq (use an MPQ editor), and open them up in the editor. See what Blizzard does. If any of those maps are similar to the map you want to create, open that one specifically. :)

I thought on using triggers so it would work like a campaign AI (my map is a campaign). I dont understand jasscraft i think becase im a newbie in map editing like you say.

I will try to create triggers to seem like jasscraft.
But... what is the trigger to produce units in, for example, a barrack?
