I've been working on a map called True Combat, an arena-style map that is not anything complex besides the spells and abilities you use. By using this style, it creates a more noob-friendly map, as the only thing you have to "get used to" is the spells. The spells themselves will be of my own creation and no one else.
The problem lies when I only like to create spells and systems, without much love for anything else. Therefore, I've created this thread, and will answer questions people might have.
What is this map?
It's an arena. It will be focused around the heroes themselves. Items and other outside sources will be less important than how you maneuver and play your hero. Creeps probably will not be put into the map at all and income will come due to how well you are playing, not last-hit KS's or things like that.
However, all is not yet set in stone. I'm really trying to get a better idea of where I should take this, and this is where some of the positions come into play. I'm looking for people that not only can do what they can do for the creation of the map, but what they can do to make it a better idea for a map.
Who Are You Looking For?
Most people wonder what they're going to be working with when they apply for a position. I'll explain what I'm looking for to clarify.
Terrainist:
If you open the map, you'll see that I've done absolutely no terraining. Just a big open square that you can work with. I honestly don't know what belongs there, as I'm not exactly sure what an arena-style terrain might look like. It'll be totally up to you to decide what you'd like to do with the terrain. The bounds may be extended but not too far. There are 8 people in the battle, and there's no need to make larger than a 64x64 playing field for something that small.
Balancer:
So far, I've simply thrown random numbers on the spells and hoped to god that they were fairly balanced. However, I'm not that great at balancing and I consider it my weak point. Anyone willing to take this position will have a strong position over the numbers of the map. Damage, health, DPS, etc. will be primarily decided by you. I will be pretty loose and wont argue very much over you decisions if you prove to be doing quite well with your balancing.
Testers and Idealists:
The last position I'm truly looking to have work with me is probably the most important. I'm looking for ideas. I want people to give me input on what would make it a truly great map. And that's where the testers and idealists come in. I just want fresh, new ideas for this so we can have a truly unique arena map without all the spells and systems ripped off from other maps.

Talk to me there and we'll work something out. I'm looking forward to the creation of this map, and hope others will join me.
Where Are The Screenshots?
I'm not creating something that aims to look pretty. I'm creating something that's fun to play. There are currently very few effects in the map and those that are would be hard to capture in a screenshot. Try out a few of the spells within the map itself instead.
