Troubles Changing unit's attack range

i have been trying to lengthen a units attack range but without sucsses, i have go into the editor and selected a units
(Combat-Attack 1-Range: ) but when i use the unit in the actual game his range remains unchanged, please help and tell me how to efectivly change a units attack range

there's a field called "Combat-Aquisition range" the units range cant be higher then this orelse it goes to this one. Btw, this field is how far a unit targets another unit and goes to attack it

Like the guy above me said: You can't go higher then "Combat-Aquisition range"

Just make Combat-Aquisition range the same as Attack 1: Range
