I'm sure you've all heard it or at least heard OF it. Soulja Boy. It's like a plague that just wont go away. Everyone listens to it, despite it being retarded as hell, since the 'Boy' himself sounds like he has Downs syndrome.

But, a new salvation is upon us. Travis Barker, one of the greatest rock drummers of today, did an amazing remix, and turned a shitty song into something worth listening to. Check it out!

The original is terrible, as one the 'drumming' is incredibly simplistic, and two the singer sounds like he has Downs. That's why it sucks.

Furthermore, if you think the drumming blows, please by all means record your own remix of the song, with better drums, and upload it for us all to hear.

It's not an insult. I know someone with Downs. The fact is though, this person willingly sounds like a retard, even though he (mostly likely) doesn't have the syndrome.

On topic, percussionists never cease to amaze me. Until you start concentrating on the percussions of a piece of music, you can never really appreciate it for what it is. When I start listening to music nowadays, I always try to concentrate more on the drummer's parts more than the melody.

Also, that guy is fucking wild. And Soulja Boy sucks ass, despite the fact that my high school is constantly playing his music.

Alas, it is the same, Travis Barker is an amazing drummer (though he's definetly not showing what he's really capable of here) and yeah, my god damend high school plays Soulja Boy faaaar too much. And I hate it.

I agree that soulja boy is way overplayed, in my school everyone has it as their ringtone and i dislike rap.
