I don't think we have map-playing tournaments of any sort here.

Never heard of it. Though I'm not part of the Development area of the community, so I wouldn't really have any way of knowing.

There are no gaming tournaments here, the contests are all connected to modding. The melee tournament was a mapping contest. The idea itself would be fun, however the timezone differences make it impossible to achieve.

No no no, there was an actual melee tournament. Aerobocytlos(Or however it's spelled) won it. I participated even. You fought a bunch of 1v1 match-ups on good ol' B.Net tournament style.

I hope it exist a TD contest it would be fun to see wich TD is the best.
